I had a diamond/platinum/gold ring and wanted to reset the stones in a man's setting. Kathleen and Sally were both very helpful and provided great advice. Their inventory of new jewelry is terrific, nothing gauche, everything attractive and quite affordable. I am very happy with this new ring incorporating the old stones. The entire process was completed in just over a month.

I have bought two rings from Argentum, and have also gotten a repair and a resize done by their staff. The selection of new pieces at this store is generous and varied, with something for every style and every budget. One of my rings purchased from Argentum developed a flaw quickly, but after submitting it for repair I got it back within the week.

It was even better than new, and I have worn it every day since! The experience was so great with that ring that I decided to bring my "trouble ring" to them for a resize. That ring had been resized twice elsewhere, to abysmal results. I discussed options with the staff (Sally and Hayley Foltzer are very kind and knowledgeable), and ended up getting that ring perfectly sized and cleaned up significantly within about 5 days. What's more, it was the least expensive resize I have paid for. 100% worth it. Thanks, Argentum! :)

The staff at Argentum is very easy to work with. They found the perfect engagement ring for me, and were accommodating to every request, while offering their expertise and knowledge whenever asked. My fiancee loves the ring!

They told me it would take three weeks to replace an opal that fell out of a ring my late aunt gave me. However, it took three months for the stone to get replaced, and the stone was cracked when I finally got the ring back. The communication while they had my ring was awful/nonexistent. Then, less than three months after I got the ring back, half of the stone fell out again.

I asked for a refund because the service was so poor the first time I was there, but they refused saying they couldn't eat the cost. The owner was rude and didn't take responsibility for the shoddy work they did on an item that is very dear to me. I would never recommend this jewelry store.

Hayley and her staff were absolutely wonderful in the search for the perfect ring for my wife. She even allowed us a very generous and flexible payment schedule. My wife also got my band from here and I love it. I would absolutely recommend that anyone looking for great customer service and great ring selection swing by Argentum and say Hi.

Very unique jewelry. I went in with the loose diamonds to ask about making earrings. Though they work with a jewelry designer, they never got back to me. I don't respect businesses who don't follow through with sales. But I bought my wedding ring there.

My partner and I both got engagement rings from Argentum. I got one from the case and we got a ring customized for my partner. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They gave good feedback in order to find the best options for our rings. They worked well with modest budgets and provided something truly special. I would recommend Argentum for someone who is interested in finding unique and artistic jewelery.

A very pleasant experience shopping at Argentum. Had a great variety of chains to look at, I ultimately ended up ordering one through them and could not be happier with the final product. I felt extremely comfortable with the process and with the staff. I got a friendly text reminder the day it arrived and went in to fit it, haven't taken it off since.

I visited several other places and I would say that other stores had very condescending staff. That was a complete turn off to even doing business at other stores. Argentum has my business for life :

Wonderful service! I had three pieces of jewelry that were not very expensive (but were important to me) that needed minor repairs, and they were fixed in about 5 minutes and cost $5. I was very happy with the results and everyone was very friendly!

The Foltzer family is wonderful all around. I recently had Hayley help me search for and purchase an engagement ring for my fiance and not only was she patient and helpful but extremely knowledgable about the jewelry. They are all jewelry makers and have a broad understanding of all of the aspects of their craft. Wide variety of beautiful work and they make you feel very comfortable without being pushy and strive to help you find what you are looking for! Have used no other jewelry store in Bloomington for the last 25 years. Attentive, trustworthy, great variety of anything you're looking for any occasion. Simply put.the BEST.

I am completely fed up with this place. My wife bought me an engagement ring here a couple years ago. One of the stones fell out already, so I took it in to buy a replacement and have it put in. It has now been 6 weeks and I still don't have my ring back. They have never called me to let me know what the hold-up is, I keep having to call them (which is hard because they rarely answer their phone and never return messages) or actually go in person to ask what is taking so long, and I always get some excuse. I wanted to support a local business, but this place is totally not worth it.
