Bill's Jewelry in Grinnell came through once again for me. My Grandparents Millie & Elwin Husted's ( Original founders of Millies Drive In Restaurant) old wall clock with chimes has set in my basement for the past 25 years and hasn't ran for quite a lot longer. After discovering that Bill's Jewelry repairs clocks I took it to them. All it needed was a complete disassembly, cleaning and lubrication, nothing was worn out and their labor charge was very reasonable. To no surprise I'm once again a very satisfied customer.

The staff was awesome, respectful, helpfully. I had many rings to be sized, check prones for loose stone. The service was fast. I will be returning to make more purchases.

Not even close to the same service since Bill left the business. This was the best jeweler in the area for many years. But now it's just another retail jewelry store. We got a $350 quote for service (they send it out) that we subsequently took to a real jeweler and had done for $75.

Bill's Jewelry is a great place to shop and buy Jewelry, Watches, and more they do watch repair replace batteries clean them ect, they have a great staff there to help you with all your needs it's a Mom and Pop store with all that personal touch that appreciates all there customers stop in and check them out IAM sure you won't be disappointed IAM glad I choose them for all my needs!

Bill has replaced several different stones at a fraction of the cost of the jewelry store that I bought them from. I'm very happy with the quality and service that I have received.

Wishing to renew a carved piece of Chinese Jadeite to become wearable, I took the piece to him to clean and have a gold clasp of some kind fit to the top so on special occasions I would be able to attach it to a heavy gold necklace that I wear. I left the piece with Bill and asked him to do what he could to improve the piece. My son John Landkamer brought it to me just now.

I opened the box and gasped at the transformation! Bill polished and cleaned the piece and created an almost glowing mystical piece of a long unused piece. It had been waiting for the gorgeous gold ornamental clasp that Bill created just for this unusual piece. Truly you are an artist, Bill. Thank you!
