This terrible incident hit especially close to home as two children in our family attend school there. Although we are relieved to hear they are physically okay, we remain concerned for their emotional wellness. So many families are not as fortunate. Bonita Bead Boutique would like to support the healing process for these families and provide some small comfort to the people of Uvalde through expressive art therapy.

Bonita Bead Boutique has introduced art therapy to many families coping with illness and tragedy within our own community.

Bonita Bead Boutique was founded in 2005 by Ann & Anita Tristan twin-sisters. After several years of working under consignment at the Toledo Museum of Art, the Tristans set out on their own, selling their jewelry at specialty stores at one-stop trunk show.

Jewelry Repairs Report

My sister's husband passed away the beginning of August and I had bought some charms to be made into necklaces for the family as a memento. They went above and beyond to select the perfect chains and fasteners for each family member and had them ready within hours for me to be able to take back with me the next day as I am from out of town. I am so very grateful for their kindness and courtesy. The craftmanship is top notch and everyone loved their necklaces. Forever grateful for these ladies!

Ann and Anita are wonderful and so skilled at what they do! They have helped repair several pieces of jewelry, replaced watch batteries, and brainstormed with me to help breathe some 'new' life into a few inherited family pieces of jewelry. Talked extensively to sweet Anita. The store is clean & set up lovely. It was refreshing to see some beads that you cannot find at Joanns or Hobby Lobby. Anita was VERY knowledgeable about the origins of the different types of beads. We will be going back as we eat at the Longhorn close to it frequently. Id love to have a beading party with my 3 grown daughters, they would be impressed at the 2 sisters success in a niche business such as theirs.

Wow, really? I've shopped in this store many times and have always had a very positive experience! Maybe you had an off day? If you really needed the 1/2 drilled pearls ASAP and the bead store was going to have to order them, and you generally order them online, then it seems to me it would have been just as fast for you to order them? I'm sensing some unhappiness in the fact that you just didn't have your way! I'll continue to shop at Bonita Bead Boutique!
