Chuck's Coins & Antiques

Horrible. Brought in a couple gold coins. One was appraised in 2011 uncirculated in the case at $ 130,000. He didn't even look at them or take them out the case to check them. I'd prefer finding someone who actually knows what they're doing. Don't come here.

We drove an hour away from home because it looked like this store carried everything my son likes. He loves antiques, coins, needed some supplies for coin collecting that the site said they carry. When we got there, masks were required, so we put them on. We got in and there's a phone booth sized area and the guy comes to the window and says we can't go in the store because of the pandemic (as if it's a new thing going on).

There were about 4 shelves in this phone booth sized area and that was the only stuff we could look at. The guy was on the phone the whole time anyhow, so even if we wanted to buy/sell something we'd have had to wait in the tiny area. It was a complete waste of a Saturday and my son was very disappointed

I trust Chuck. He is respectful, and he offers good money for the silver I sell him. He also has good prices if I want to buy. It's nice going to a store and seeing what you buy rather than purchasing online where you have to deal with fees. There are other coin shops in the area who I do not trust, but that is NOT Chuck.

Even in the pandemic, Chuck's manages to stay open and I am glad for that. The COVID protocols they have in place may be a little over board for some people but I like that they are taking the virus seriously and that they have found a way to remain open and serving their customers. I got to look through some coins and buy a few ones I found interesting and they helped me out a lot.

Chuck and staff are very knowledgable. I have sold Chuck a few nice gold coins and purchased many items from him. Always try to visit when I am in town

Absolutely the rudest man I've ever encountered in coins. Is mandatory that she wear a mask and stand inside this 2' by 4' square entrance before he will let you in like hes going to disinfect you when a customer is allowed in the store at a time only. Not even worth the hassle he might as well shut his place down and do online business only.

I had to take some coins and marbles left after a family member passed. Dealt directly with Chuck and appreciated that this guy knows his stuff. I have no previous experience with collecting. I had no idea of the value of what I had. He was straight forward and honest about what the markets pay. I'm holding on to his card. It's a small space but packed with interesting stuff. So small, I appreciate that he asks people to wear a mask

Wouldn't let me browse the shop without face mask or a "VACCINE ID card" that was requested verbally. Very unwelcoming experience, my first and last visit to this shop. And I had cash I wanted to part with.

Visited Chuck for the first time for some silver, and even during the corona pandemic, Chuck gave a competitive price, AND made the transaction as smooth as possible with me having to pay and pickup at the door because customers aren't allowed inside yet. Looking forward to visiting Chuck again soon

I called chuck over the phone to see what he was paying for silver. Said if I had buffalo rounds in decent shape he'd pay 90 cents over spot, which was much better than any of the places near me. When I arrived he recognized me from a purchase I had made there over a year ago. When we counted up the silver rounds I had brought I was one ounce short, Chuck paid me for it anyway saying it may have been miscounted when he sold it to me over a year ago. I couldn't believe he did that for me. That was a real stand up move, and it will keep me as a customer for life!

I checked about a dozen gold and jewelry stores before I sold my coins and scrap gold. Chuck's offered to pay me more for my silver coins and scrap gold than any other gold and silver buyer within a 40 mile radius. Since then I have sent all my friends and relatives to Chuck's to get the best offer for their scrap gold and coins too! They were all more than satisfied with Chuck's top offers. Even on costume jewelry they offered to pay more. It's a small store with big offers. Can't beat it!
