Excellent store with nice selection that's not overwhelming. If the store doesn't have exactly what you're looking for, they can customize or make whatever you desire. The owners are friendly and helpful! I was able to quickly make a selection, order a custom setting, and get on with my day. Repairs on previous purchase because I forget to take rings off for gardening? No problem. Quick turn arounds!

Wow, this guy is totally foolish and acts like a cretin. He just started yelling at some girl about parking her truck in front of his store. The truck was at least 3 spaces away AND there were at least 2 spaces open in front of his store. I would never give someone like that my hard earned money. If you choose to shop here, be prepared, he obviously has anger issues. Why would any store owner want to be seen like that?

Amazing store, and despite the distance, will likely be my new go-to. I stopped in on a visit to Lake Placid after forgetting my earrings, and walked out with two pairs. The store is inviting and has a phenomenal selection - there's a really good range, from more classic jewelry to sleek modern pieces. I also found the prices extremely reasonable; I only wear yellow gold, which can be pricey, but I was pleasantly surprised at the price range for a gorgeous selection of 14k yellow gold (solid, not plate!) earrings and necklaces.

The manager, Briar, was extremely sweet and not at all pushy or "sales-y"; I don't think I've ever had a better experience jewelry shopping. Really recommend this cozy, excellently curated store.

We love getting our jewelry at Darrah Cooper because of their amazing customer service, attention to detail, friendliness and chill vibe. Tim and his wife and the rest of the Darrah Cooper staff are so nice. My husband purchased my engagement ring from here and we also purchased our wedding bands and necklaces as gifts for our mothers. Several of our pieces were customized by Tim and he did an absolutely stunning job.

They have a great variety of jewelry, charms, and Adirondack-specific pieces, and the Darrah Cooper team isn't afraid of listening to your crazy ideas and helping you find (or create) exactly what you're looking for. This is the only jeweler I will go to!

Everyone here is SO pleasant and willing to please. I have gotten many things here, and the quality is incredible. Nice variety of things and price ranges. You can spend $50 or $1000, it doesn't matter- everything is beautiful. Highly recommend. I don't go anywhere else.
