We deal largely with individual miners, miner co-ops, and Women's Co-Ops to purchase rough materials. As well as individual and group miners and prospectors here in the USA. Then we hand cut these rough materials into the finished gemstones for our jewelry or we send them out to one of our USA cutters in our network of lapidarists we have built over the years. Thus we cut out almost all the middlemen in the equation and allowing affordable prices but the best of quality and in this way we know the entire pedigree of the majority of our gemstones and can assure that the stones are natural and untreated, or if treated exactly how and to what extent, so you the client, is always getting exactly what you desire and are paying for!
We even offer locally collected and cut gemstones too! The Gemologist we have available is well known within the Gemstone Industry and has been published numerous times and has his work being used by some Universities in their courses. Our Gemologist researches colored gemstones, synthetics, and treatments so they are always on the cutting edge of what's going on. Just recently received their Certificate and award letter from the GIA G&G 2012 for their professionalism and dedication to the field of Gemology by their continued effort for keeping their education current and up to date.
We have a full Gemological Laboratory here with advanced equipment you won't find in the hands of most Gemologists. The few things we can not do in House we offer extended services with external labs as well.
We also specialize in USA colored gemstones in both faceted pieces and cabochon too. As well as crystals and mineral specimens. If you need it, odds are that we have it,can do it, have it done, or can quickly get it!
