We purchase multiple pieces from Gold Mart Jewelry. The selection of jewelry is unique and beautiful. However, the staff is is unfriendly to down right rude. Customer service is important to me! The world is filled with to many rude people.

I will never shop at this store solely due to the atrocious radio commercials they repeat over and over again. The insulting and childish scenarios they narrate sound like they were written by a 13 year old. Terrible.

Love this store. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! Very welcoming atmosphere, huge selection and reasonably priced. I always try and get some placer gold and definitely always pick up some gold or silver coins. They ancient to modern silver and gold coins and even have those 1oz gold coins for investing your hard earned dollars on. Plus they have a huge selection of jewelry and I mean huge!

Plenty of staff for those crowded times. I've always been greeted with service and a nice hello how can we help you on my way in and on the way out its a thank you and see you next time. I highly recommend Goldmart it's your home For the next cool find!

The Gold Mart Coin Shop is the only coin shop in town I will give my business to. When it comes to buying or selling there is no business more honest. Thank you for a great buying & selling experience every time.

Standing here patiently waiting my turn while an associate stands at the front counter, when they noticed me they asked if I was picking up a repair which I was. He proceeded to say 'let me get someone to help you' as I notice each other employee is helping a customer so I say 'they look busy I can wait' normally no biggie but as I'm waiting this same associate proceeds to help 2 other gentlemen that walked in after me. Very disappointed in the specific employees actions. I could have taken my business elsewhere had I known I'd need to wait 20+ minutes to pick up my resized ring.

This is THE place to go to if you're looking for nice jewelry. Recently came in for an engagement ring. I looked in rough shape but the staff greeted me right away and tended to me. BRYCE was so nice and helpful. He has vast knowledge of diamonds, gemology, and metallurgy. He is also very eloquent in the way he explains different cuts and grades. I needed this ring ASAP.

We decided on a Facets of Fire diamond but the band I picked was too small. Michael that handles the QC was able to get my ring set so I could present it the same day. I then came back to get it resized the next day and it was all done the day after. This place is amazing and I truly feel they care about the customer. They went above and beyond what I'd ever expect.

My fiance couldn't be happier and this diamond sparkles like no other. They've definitely got a customer for life and I will be referring people here. Thank you again everyone at The Goldmart for being so kind!

This is easily the best jewelry store in Redding. I have been coming here for years to get my girlfriend and daughter their jewelry. The staff is very friendly, and super helpful. They have a wide selection, so you will be able to find just the right piece. Last Christmas I was able to get my daughter a beautiful topaz ring for her birthstone at a great price. She loves it. This year I am going to find a pendant to go with it. If you are shopping for jewelry, I would definitely stop here.

Beginning to end, was a terrible experience. Went in for a ring resizing and request for an appraisal; manager was condescending and scoffed at my fiance buying the ring online. A few days later, I was contacted and told that after they began resizing the ring they noticed "major structural issues". I was told there was no way that the resizing process would have caused these issues, but was frustrated that they did not see these issues before beginning the resizing process.

In addition, the appraisal came out about half of what we paid for the ring and the manager said "that's what happens when you buy rings online." He said if we had gone to him with the money we paid, he could have built the same ring with a "much bigger diamond" which was incredibly condescending and offensive to me. At this point, there was no way to return the ring as it was impossible to prove the structural issues were not caused by the resizing process, and because the ring had been altered we could not return the ring to get another for the appropriate value.

The manager acted like he was doing us a favor by offering to fix the structural issues for free (which he only did when I came into the store in person with my fiance to discuss the plan with the ring). Finally received the resized ring and one year later, it has a large stress fracture where it was resized. I took it into a different jewelry store and they immediately found one other fracture. I was so excited when I got engaged and was so happy with the ring and felt mistreated through the entire experience.

Called this company to get a simple answer as to how much do they pay per gram for 10k scrap gold and was told they can't tell me over the phone. I asked do they pay by penny weight? Spot price market? Or per gram? And was told they pay per gram but the fella wouldn't tell me the price per 10k gram and wanted me to bring my item in. really?

You expect a customer to go out in public and drive to you, during a pandemic, only to ask the exact same question to you that you outright refused to answer on the phone. three times I asked and three times was told he will not share how much they pay for gold. they are scammers - professionals would share what their current rate for today is for 10k, 14k, 18k etc.

He wasted my breath asking him three times and must be insane if he thinks I will drive to their location to waste my time, gas, mileage, only to be told the same thing when I get there. That's some kind of stupid for sure. I don't need you to look at my item, I needed you to tell me what your going rate is. Don't use this company they will try to treat you like a fool and take advantage of your situation. There seems to be no ethics and definitely no customer service and no professionalism. Take it from me, don't waste your time.

I really enjoy stepping into the Goldmart to see the big selection of jewelry and coins. The coins bring my visit and it's easy to take an hour or more to view the merchandise and visit with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always leave with a smile and a newly purchased coin, come on down and see for yourself.

I'm hesitant to give these guys a 5 star rating. All the staff are friendly and were wearing masks when serving me. But if a customer walked in without a mask they would not put one on. I'm trying to keep these reviews to either a 5 or 1 star biased entirely on the reasonable actions businesses are taking to help keep our county off the watch list. I'm settling on 5 because I would take any effort vs. no effort like many other businesses are doing. Staff are friendly, they don't push you towards things you don't want. selection is pretty darn decent.

I went to Goldmart to buy silver eagles when silver dropped to $12.50 an ounce. Standard dealer premium over spot price of silver eagles is 2-3 dollars. Goldmart is now charging $11 over spot price on silver eagles which is artificially inflating the price of silver and is anti capitalist behavior. Goldmart is overcharging it's customers during a national emergency. I will never do business with Goldmart again.

You will not find a better jeweler in town! The knowledge, patient and welcoming of this business can't be compared. I want to personally thank Nathan and Kalia, because of you I was able to walk in with an idea and walk out with a solution. I'd give 10 stars if I could. With your help I was able to complete my love story. She said yes!

The Goldmart should be the first place you go when shopping for that special someone. They have fair and reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff, and a great selection!

About two weeks ago I brought an old sterling silver ring in looking to have it repaired. Nathan was super helpful in determining what needed to be fixed on the ring and immediately put it in the repair process. On top of the friendly and quick service, he even mailed me the ring when it was finished since I was unable to pick it up. They did a beautiful job with the repairs -- even fixing a few things I didn't even know needed fixing!

I brought in several pieces of jewelry to The Goldmart, to have the stones checked out (to see what's real or not, and get a ballpark of what some things were worth). During the half-hour plus that I was there, Nathan carefully measured diamonds, looked for chips, told me what kind of colored stones were in the rings, and gave me an idea of what they would sell for.

His knowledge of diamonds, colored stones, and overall expertise was fabulous and SO appreciated! I was happy about how pleasant he was to work with, that he knew jewelry inside-and-out, and was willing to take the time to give me information on my jewelry items. A BIG THANK YOU to Nathan at The Goldmart!

Rude! As soon as I walked in the door and pulled out my grandmother's 2k gold and diamond necklace, the man says "I'm not interested in your piece" Didn't really look at it. Four winds Jewelry told me to go there but I went right back to her. She seemed very down to earth compared to these schmucks that didn't give me the time of day.

Love this jewelry store! Everyone who works here are absolute professionals and understand customer service. Their jewelry repair is spot-on and flawless. Thank Michael for taking such good care of us! Michael went out of his way to get my rings back to me before our trip, he is amazing!

Of course a selection of jewelry, however the level of professionalism is below what I would expect, and is so important when choosing and deciding to make a large investment in jewelry. Knowledge and experience is critical and I did not find this to be the case at The Goldmart.

I brought a pair of my favorite broken earrings in to the Goldmart today and Zach was kind enough to fix them for me at no charge. I have done business here in the past and was always very impressed with their customer service. Today was a perfect example of that! I will recommend them to all of my friends and clients!

I went to this store today with my daughter. We were going to look at wedding rings. No one even acknowledged us. They were fairly busy but there were some clerks who were available. One man in particular sat looking right past us then when another customer, a man, walked in he got up and waited on him. We will not go back. Went across the parking lot to Anderson 's and the service was great!

Very nice jewelry and coin store. Beautiful decorated and really nicely displayed. Best prices on gold and silver coins. Jewelry repairs available. Nice collection of silver coins for collection or gifts. Good prices on buying back coins or jewelry.

I WANT TO START WITH SAYING I WILL ALWAYS TRY TO PATRONIZE LOCAL PRIVATELY OWNED COMPANIES BUUUUUT: They (well truthfully one sales person, but others heard her) did the same thing to my diamond ring. Platinum, the solitaire diamond stone (we hand picked) had alone appraised at $5600 and is also micro etched with a unique # for ID if stolen, all the papers & the whole nine yards. Anyways, I wasn't even there to get anything, I was with my friend who was looking at rings & she commented on how one they had there under their case, kinda looked like mine.

I answered "yes, except my diamond is slightly more rectangle." (On the certificate of auth & identification it's described as an "emerald cut shaped diamond") I was just making an observation, not a deterrent. Then, out of no where the sales woman quickly cut in and spouted out that that kind of shape- "if they are more rectangle, it would be considered to be irregular so it's worth less." Wait, WHAT?

She hadn't even seen it bc I had left it to be cleaned at the first jeweler we went to that day to look at rings for my friend?! She began going on & on how my 8000+ ring must be a piece of left over crap. (Crap was my word, to be fair but not the left over comments) I didn't even buy it here in Redding, I had to go to Sac to find an actual professional jeweler that I could sit with us(while armed guards stood close by to protect them) and look through a spread of diamonds all registered, had the cards right there to check the "CCC." Anyways my friend & I just looked at each other & walked out.

Clearly she wasn't a good rep for the company. I was treated with kid gloves at the store in Sac, I felt as important as the diamond! I know I'm not sporting a $30,000 rock but my goodness, who in this universe would think that a woman wouldn't feel a little tense if someone started ripping on the one piece of jewelry that we all know holds a special place in our hearts! I'm not in jewelry sales but I'm pretty sure I'd always try to find the beauty in whatever piece of jewelry a woman might be talking about.

Her comments were just out of place & really just weirdly. idk, hostile? Just out of place & we weren't there ripping on other things there or anything-just looking having a nice day out shopping.so yea.bummer. I can't speak towards their work/repairs I'm sorry to say. I have skipped their store bc of her treatment. That may be to MY detriment, although I found a delightful little shop here in town that does my small repairs. (My ring goes to Sac though :) it's sad that just one employee can really sour several people to what probably is overall a fine company. HW

Brought several of my watches in for band changes and it turned out that one of the jobs was very hard and time consuming.took two of the associates to complete the job and about half an hour.all that service and total charge was $10.very pleased with great customer service nd will come back again! thank you!

Had a ring repaired there and was very pleased.i had price compared all over town& they were by far the cheapest for repairs and didnt take 2 weeks like the other jewelry stores told me it would take.i will definitely be a repeat customer. The only problem i had was they had referred me to Four Winds jewelers for a different item and the owner of Four Winds was rude and he charged me a ridiculous amount.

Owner was also very unprofessional. after complaining about Four Winds to a couple friend of mine they let me know they have had a terrible experience there as well& the husband, who is in law enforcement let me know that Leonard (owner at Four Winds) is known for taking in stolen jewelry. So watch what you buy from there it may have been robbed from other people.

Turned in an old white gold ring I found in elementary school that had just been sitting around collecting dust and got $150 Happy about that

Recently went shopping for an engagement ring and they have an estate section and then a bridal section with mixed in estate jewelry that I wasn't aware of. After selecting a ring from the bridal section they informed me there was no warranty since it was estate.--------- Yesterday I went back and got a great deal on diamond earrings as a diamond pendant. It was quick painless and I'm happy with my purchase. I then went back again yesterday and had another quick and easy purchase. Makes all the difference!
