The word carat derives from the word carob, a Mediterranean seed, which has an extremely consistent weight for measuring. The greater the carat weight, the rarer, and more valuable the diamond becomes. Five metric carats weighs exactly 1 gram. Some people want the largest diamond possible. If size is a priority, we at Hart's Jewelry can help you classify the proper cut, color and clarity to fit your budget economically, and fit your jewelry beautifully.Many of our engagement rings can fit diamonds up to 5.00 carats, but each ring has different size constraints based on its size and the type of setting.

With a Graduate Gemologist on staff we can educate you and assist you with choosing the perfect stone at the very best price. We have an excellent selection of diamonds already in mountings ready for your inspection in our cases.
Add-A-Pearl necklaces are usually started with 1, 3 or more pearls on a chain. You can choose to add a personal touch with an engraved charm or you may choose to enhance the starter necklace with a beautiful diamond or gold filigree clasp. Every necklace will arrive in our signature Add-A-Pearl necklace box, including an attractive booklet with information about the time-honored tradition of Add-A-Pearl. In addition, we'll send along a padded envelope to safely send the necklace back to us when you are ready to add pearls.

I had an incredible experience here. The staff was incredibly helpful and walked me through every step of the process at a fraction of the price of the big chain stores. They were thoughtful and made sure I got exactly what I wanted for my big decision. Everything from a custom band to a hand picked stone. Harts is truly the best you can get. Thank you guys!

My Wife and I found a ring she loved at Hart's and the lady helping us quoted a price. The next day I called to reserve it, and (another) lady I spoke with quoted me a different price (higher). When I went in that night to pick up the ring, the lady I spoke with on the phone was there, and I questioned the price difference. She said the first lady made a mistake, but they would honor the lower price.
I told her I didn't want to get anyone in trouble, and would pay the higher price if they needed me to. She said no, but didn't seem too thrilled about the situation. I told her the ring would need to be sized, and that I would be back the next day with my wife, but I would like to take the ring home to present to her that evening. She said that would be fine.
The next day we returned, and as we were handing over the ring to be sized, they informed us we would have to pay to have it resized. All the places I've ever bought rings previously (including Hart's) an initial sizing has always been free. When we questioned it, the curt reply was "not at that price". We took the ring to another local shop to have it sized and received excellent service. We also found some amazing pieces we are considering. I guess things happen for a reason!

I can't say enough great things about this store. After my Grandmother passed, I brought her engagement ring in to Mr. Hart as it was falling apart. He cleaned up the stones and practically rebuilt the band maintaining it's integrity and beauty when it seemed to be a lost cause. I returned a few years later to purchase earrings and a necklace for my wedding. Every piece I've received from there has been quaility and beautiful. Thank you!

My daughter and I got our ears pierced for the first time at Hart's Jewelry. They had an excellent selection of earnings to choose from. I called ahead of time to make sure they had enough staff to pierce both ears at once and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They were well staffed, careful, helpful, and very kind about doing it. I would recommend this to anyone who is hesitant about getting their first piercing!
