ALL my jewelry from Hiller is beautiful! And the pieces they designed for my daughter using my mother's old jewelry are one-of-a-kind, and also beautiful!

I love Hiller Jewelry. I bought my wife's engagement ring and subsequently her wedding band there. Prices were as good or better than I found on the internet. Joan and Lisa B are very helpful and knowledgeable and you don't feel pressured like you are at some other places. I won't go anywhere else.

I purchased my then girlfriend's engagement ring from Hiller after doing my due diligence and looking at at least 5 other stores. I chose Hiller because they had exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. After purchasing the perfect, quite pricey ring is when the trouble started. After having the ring sized, which I was told would be no problem, is when the trouble began.

After my fiance wearing the ring for about a month a small diamond fell out the halo, which was replaced at no charge. Three weeks later, the same diamond fell out, and was again replaced at no charge. After this diamond fell out again the employee told us she would order a brand new identical setting and put the diamond in it. We waited 2-3 weeks for this and when we picked it up the center diamond was crooked and the halo was not the same shape.

We asked that this be fixed and were basically told nothing could be done. After much discussion (complaining) Hiller agreed to build from scratch a ring identical to the first one I had originally purchased, again at no charge. This took another 3 weeks and we received it the weekend before our wedding. The ring is still not right! While the service was good, and the employees were very nice, I just do not feel I got what I paid for. After reading a couple of the other reviews I realize I am not the only one.

Ok, a girl has to love her jewelry right? Well, I have been going to these people for many years, and many boyfriends later, I still send my men over there. I remember when they were off of Canal Street, and on Veterans and now at the new store. Mr. Bill used to set me up with all the jewelry that I wanted and that I needed. I still wear my diamond ring, my diamond bracelet, and my diamond earrings that I got from here and every few months, I bring them in to be polished and cleaned and have batteries put in my watches. I buy some stuff here and there- wish I could afford more, but I love these people.

Hiller is by far the best jewelry shop I've ever worked with. When I was having trouble finding a setting for my wife's engagement ring, I went to Hiller for advice. Lisa was exceptionally helpful and suggested that I have the setting made by their shop. After a couple rounds of design, and going through detailed CAD renderings, Hiller produced the most amazingly perfect setting that worked perfectly with the diamond I had purchased.

The attention to detail and the knowledge of diamond characteristics was so apparent in the ring. It far exceeded my expectations. Since hitting a home run with the engagement ring, I have since put all of my faith in the team at Hiller. They made my wife's wedding ring and numerous other custom necklaces since then. I don't believe that there is any project that they couldn't handle. Thank you Hiller for all of your help over the years!

I'm so shocked to see a negative review for Hiller! Hiller has been my family's go-to jewelry shop my entire life, and we have never had anything but wonderful experiences! Their merchandise is fabulous, and I've noticed they've added a lot for younger consumers (like me), offering the same high quality in some younger styles and at more accessible price points. It's also a family-owned, family-run company, which I love, and they make their customers feel like part of the fam -- so warm, welcoming, and eager to help you find just what you're looking for! :)

I don't normally write reviews, but I really feel like something needs to be said about this jeweler. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. My fiance purchased my engagement and wedding band from Hiller. At first he was very happy with the service when they helped him select and order the ring. The problem came when I needed to have the ring sized bc it was very very slightly too large.

I went to have the ring sized smaller and when the ring was returned to me it was much much too tight and the prongs of the diamond setting were slightly tilted. (I have a four pronged diamond solitaire) when I went back to Hiller to explain it was much tighter than I expected it to be and it was now slightly crooked they charged me to size it again and told me there was nothing they could do about the now leaning setting.

The girl at the store pointed out that no one would probably notice. The sizing wasn't an issue (although I don't like having to pay for something that should have been done correctly the first time) but how can you damage something very expensive and valuable to a person and then say there's nothing you can do and send you on your way?

The work done was just sloppy. And the way they handled it was insensitive. I wish this is where my experience with them ended but unfortunately my fiance also got my wedding band from there bc it was only way we could easily match the engagement ring. When the wedding band arrived it was first off sized differently than the engagement ring. It seems to be about a quarter size larger.

As well the width of the band is larger on the wedding band and the engagement ring so that it does not match well at all. (the band is a very thin micro-pave setting) My fiance and I now live and Houston (we had a surprise work transfer mid engagement) and are not able to come back to new Orleans until our wedding in two weeks. There's nothing we can do but either send the ring back and look elsewhere or have the ring sized here in Houston.

I just want to make sure to let everyone else know about my horrible experience so you can avoid going through what we did. Getting your engagement and wedding bands should be one of the happiest experiences in your life. I now have a crooked engagement ring and a mismatched wedding band (that my fiance paid a very large amount for!) Hiller's work is sloppy and their employees unprofessional. I would avoid them.

Hiller really offers a different experience then all the stuffy jewelry stores in the area. the people are nice, genuine and give you all your options. hiller gives you the intimate service that only a small family business can deliver. they really care about you and they take the extra step to make sure you are happy with your jewelry. i will go back to hiller for everything from a designer necklace to the dreaded engagement ring.
