First of all, I'd like to say how happy I am that I got a 2nd opinion when I needed to have my wedding ring resized. After going to another jeweler across the street, that I won't go to again, I am so grateful for J. Hunter that I could cry. Brenda J. came to my rescue. After being told at the other store that all 4 of their jewelers refused to work on my ring, Johannes Hunter came to my rescue.

The personal customer service was beyond expectation and I had full confidence that they would/could do what I wanted. I can't recommend them more to anyone who has any requirements to repair their jewelry. They were amazing! They also let me try on some of their gorgeous rings just for fun. I recently had the opportunity to pick out an engagement ring. (After 29 years of marriage.) Naturally, I came to Johannes Hunter. I met Brenda, one of the owners, when I entered the store and gave her my very vague idea of what I was looking for and a price range.

Within 15 minutes of looking at different rings at different prices, she showed me a ring that grabbed my heart. It cost a little more than I had originally planned, but with their financing plan I could easily make it work. All of the staff are very friendly, professional, honest, knowledgeable, helpful and down-to-earth. (You don't have to dress up to shop there!) The jewelry selection is wide and unique and beautiful.

The quality is exceptional, and the prices are reasonable. They also repair and maintain jewelry, a service that I have used numerous times. I've shopped at Johannes Hunter since 1993, and I have always been exceptionally happy with the experience. Shopping there is fun! I would recommend them unequivocally.

This is such a wonderful store! The owner and her staff are delightful. And their jewelry selection is unbelievable. We recently made a "small" purchase but were treated as if we'd spent $10k.they even beautifully gift wrapped at no extra charge. Don't hesitate to visit!

I have the most beautiful jewelry and receive compliments on it regularly. They absolutely know how to shop for the best quality jewels and take pride in designing your dream ring or whatever you want, so it comes out perfectly. I have also felt like Brenda truly cares about me as an individual and doesn't push sales on me. She loves showing me pieces and would sell them to me if I wanted, but she never ever pressures me into a new purchase.

I went to JHJ for an engagement ring and Rebekah was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and patient with me and my million questions. I went in having no idea what I was looking for or even what style of ring I liked and she made me feel very comfortable and showed me many rings until I found one that I was absolutely in love with. I bought my fiance's engagement ring here in December. It was a custom built oval center with halo that far exceeded my expectations. Rebecca helped walk us through the entire process and was very knowledgeable in her diamonds and designs. 10/10 recommend this store and Rebecca for all of your wedding ring needs. JHJ is the best place to get an engagement ring! Rebecca was very helpful in finding the perfect ring for my fiance as well as communicating with me on when it would arrive, and making sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Johannes Hunter! I stopped in for a routine check of my jewelry and their jeweler immediately identified a few issues. They were able to fix them right away, and my rings looked brand new. The JHJ ultrasonic jewelry cleaning is magical. Rebekah, Brenda, and Stephanie all took great care of me and treated my rings like their own! JHJ is definitely our primary jeweler now!

Stopped in here to get my rings cleaned (which they do for free) and was immediately greeted and welcomed in! They did a great job cleaning and they also checked the prongs to make sure they were still in good condition. One of the prongs needed some work on my MIL's ring but weren't pushy about it which is nice. Everything inside is super nice, well laid out, and uniquely decorated with large agate/crystal stones throughout. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends!

I came here after being ignored at a competitor down the street. I was immediately greeted and helped by one of their professionals when I walked in. I bought a beautiful bridal set for my fiance and I was very satisfied by the way Brenda helped me decide and pick out the perfect set. She kept the communication going through the decision process which took about 2 weeks.

I am absolutely impressed with this store. I dropped my ring off the day before my bridal shower to get dipped (I wanted to flaunt my ring with full sparkle) and they rushed it to make sure it was done before the end of the day. The jeweler found some prongs that needed retipping. I began to get frantic, what was wrong with my ring?! The associate heard the anxiety in my voice and was so patient and reassuring.

Even with the extra repair the jeweler still made sure it was done by the end of the night and for a very reasonable price if you ask me! I asked a million questions when I picked it up and not once did the associate lose her smile or patience. It's safe to say I will do all of my cleaning, checks, and repairs through here! I highly recommend if you have anxiety over you ring to do business here, they are amazing!

My boyfriend and I have been shopping around for engagement rings and had a pretty bad experience at Zales. The lady was very rude and dishonest and made the experience not as fun as it should have been. I decided to keep looking. I walked into Johannes and was greeted by Evan. I was nervous to bring my puppy in but he held her the whole time while I tried on about 15 rings.

He was so honest and really cared about our budget. Everyone there seemed so genuine and patient. I love how there's no added costs. It felt like what looking for an engagement ring should feel like! Everything was customizable which is amazing! They weren't pushy in any way. I would recommend it to everyone!

As I was looking at a wedding bands, the sales woman observed me pushing the ring around on my finger and said "you know that's not how you wear a ring, right? Can I call you a dumb boy?". She was making a joke, but the answer is "no". Or, I should say, you can call me anything you want, but not if you expect to get my business.

I remember unique pieces from JHJ from many years ago, and still can't stop thinking about them! My wedding rings, an anniversary ring, and a few other amazing items have been purchased here. I get constant compliments on every piece, and I love them all! I've had a couple items repaired and a couple custom orders as well, which have all turned out perfectly. It's nice to go into a jewelry store and not be pressured or dismissed because you just came from the gym and are not wearing Gucci. You know what you're getting is top quality, and not "mall jewelry." Also, they don't do nails-on-a-chalkboard-sounding radio commercials.

My husband and I purchased our wedding bands at Johannes Hunter Jewelers and had SUCH a great experience. I chose to come to JHJ because, as an insurance adjuster, there have been several times where I've had to call a local jeweler to get pricing on a particular brand or get a quote on something that is like kind and quality to what my insured has. I've called many jewelry stores throughout the country and no one has ever been as helpful as the staff at JHJ.

And mind you, helping me with these questions provides no direct benefit to them; the insured usually lives in a different state and cannot purchase their item from JHJ. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, "You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him." It was for this reason that, when it came time for my husband and I to buy our most important jewelry, I knew the character and caliber of JHJ was a place where I felt I could go to buy jewelry and trust what was being sold and who was selling it.

So while I wasn't surprised at how great Robin was to work with because I knew JHJ was awesome, I was still in awe of how wonderful she was and grateful that we had her to work with. She communicated with us perfectly, she was patient and she was intuitive. And yes, the chocolates given with your purchase don't hurt. :-

We just picked up the fiance's wedding band at JHJ. It arrived after only two weeks (the German-brand craftsmen originally told us it would take 4-6 weeks). The ring is unique-looking, sized perfectly, and he can't wait to put it on! Backstory: Our sales guy Brian had been very helpful during the selection process. He was knowledgeable about the brands, the quality selection, and was very patient.

He didn't seem to mind that the fiance couldn't make a decision, but we walked out of there with the rings narrowed down to 3 choices. When we returned about 3 weeks later with the fiance's decision, Brian helped us put the order in. On every visit, I always get my engagement ring cleaned. It comes back 10 minutes later looking nice and shiny and sitting next to a pair of Hershey Kisses on a tray. Nice touch!

So many jewelry stores can seem either cheap (you aren't really sure if what you are buying is real) or overly pretentious (they let you know over and over and over again that what you are buying is real and that you probably can't afford it). Johannes Hunter is neither of those! In fact, I would say their customer service and selection rivals that of any jewelry business in the Springs! Bonus: no obnoxious ads on the radio! First, their customer service is top-notch.

Each employee will go out of their way to help you and can always make recommendations based on your taste and budget. I have always worked personally with Robin, the owner, but all of the employees seem just as knowledgeable and friendly. Their selection ranges from all different sorts of designers and price ranges. They have matching sets and one of a kind pieces. And, if they don't have it, they can order it for you or even make it custom to your exact specifications. Also, they have good relationships with other jewelers and custom designers all over the world so, if there is a will there is a way with Johannes Hunter. In fact, I have a custom order quote in right now!
