Judith and I co-created a pair of custom diamond studs, that reflect and compliment an unusual ring. It took us several attempts and towards the end Judith went out of her way to make things right. I'm very pleased with the outcome: my earrings turned out exactly how I had envisioned them!

I absolutely loved our experience with Judith. She was very kind and helpful. She was not snobby at all and helped me pick out the most beautiful wedding rings. She also redesigned my grandmother's engagement ring and it came out better than I imagined and gorgeous.

We have used Judith Arnell for 16 years since she designed and made our beautiful wedding rings. Since then she has designed many more pieces of jewelry for us. Our watches are even from Judith. I've purchased several pieces from Judith, each uniquely wonderful. But this last one was what really blew me away. I decided to purchase my fiance's engagement ring from Judith and it is just stunning. She sat with me and helped me find a starting point design that spoke to me and reminded me of Hannah (my lady). Then customized the ring from there to make it a personal story. Walking into this i was so unsure and worried, but the result is incredible.

The artistry on the ring is really incredible and she met me at a price that I can live with. I really cannot recommend her more. For any piece and occasion, Judith is my go-to.

I have benefited from her considerable skills for more than 25 years; from the creation of the engagement ring for my beautiful wife until our most recent absolutely stunning 25th anniversary ring, as well as other items in between. My evolving budget has been taken into account. I have been, as has my wife, overjoyed with the craftsmanship, ridiculous quality and service. I've been a customer and fan of Judith Arnell Jewelers for years. Judith's an attentive professional, always mindful of my budget and has incredible attention to detail. My most recent connection with Judith is buying my future son-in-law a wedding gift of gorgeous lapis and gold cufflinks. We had a consult with her to design a ring, possibly using some materials we have currently but we aren't sure. Judith was warm, helpful and perceptive of our needs. Also for me, it was nice she could get me up to speed and not over do it. I don't know what we're going to do about rings quite yet but Judith was great and I would highly recommend.

Service was great. I had a ring repaired after the band broke. They examined it and noted that several prongs were broken and risked losing the diamond. The ring was repaired, cleaned and looked brand new!

Judith is amazing! I came in looking for an engagement ring and though I had done some of my own research, I still felt pretty out of my element. Judith walked me through the whole process and payed close attention to what I was asking for. She gave me great options for my budget and I never felt that she was pushing for anything more than what I asked for. In the end, the ring was perfect! My mom and I went to this jewelers on SW Broadway of their store closing sales back in late April 2018. Martha greeted us with a big and warm smiles and she offers a chair for mom to sit, which we appreciate for her service greatly. Then when I had some questions about some pieces that I was looking, Martha introduced us to David, the store manager.

We have purchased many quality items from Judith. She is truly a professional, takes the time to explain each piece and works within our budget. She has beautiful items in her inventory and will make something specially if she doesn't have what we want in inventory or thinks she can make something to order that more suits our needs. We have even purchased items to be shipped to family members out of state.

What service she provides! When you make a purchase of a piece of jewelry, you really have to trust the person selling it to you, because its a scary transaction for a neophyte. My fiance and I had my engagement ring custom made by Judith, and I cannot believe how much I love this ring. Judith and her staff are amazingly kind, receptive, communicative, and respectful and made the process easy. I sought out jewelers who would be able to meet my specific design tastes and work with moissanite, since my fiance and I didn't want a diamond center stone for ethical and price considerations.

The first jeweler we visited scoffed at the idea of moissanite, and while he was affordable, he said we would have to order the moissanite stone ourselves. His attitude threw me off. The second jeweler we visited is a larger local chain whose reviews tout custom creations and large selections. The sales associate wasn't able to give us a quote, so she took my information and said she would contact me.

She texted me a few days later and then apparently didn't want my business because I never heard from her again. The third (and final) business we visited was Judith Arnell Jewelers. We explained what we were seeking to the friendly staff, who didn't blink twice at the mention of moissanite. Judith said she would seek out some stones. Well, finding moissanite and side stones to fit in our budget was a little more difficult than expected. However, Judith was never out of contact, emailing me every few days, sometimes multiple times a day, with updates on her search for the perfect stones, which she ultimately found while at an industry event in Las Vegas.

Working with Judith to design the ring of my dreams was great. She and her staff are the utmost professionals. I can't wait to go back when it's time to buy wedding bands.

Custom made rings at a local jeweler and staying within your budget is possible! My fiancee and I did just that and had the BEST experience at Judith Arnell Jewelers! We live in Seattle but have family in the Portland area and were referred to Judith. After going to different chain stores, Judith was such a breath of fresh air. She was professional, friendly and genuinely interested in helping us design a wedding ring within our budget--and we actually stayed within our budget.

We liked her so much that we also got my fiancees ring and my wedding band with her--all our rings we got through Judith. Judith send us many emails of different oval diamonds within our budget. We weren't originally planning on getting a D ranked colorless diamond thinking it would be beyond our budget, yet Judith hand picked a beautiful diamond within our price range.

Even the setting is perfect, I found that at the chain stores the halo settings were awkward, the center diamond often was set too high and I didn't want something that would snag easily working as a nurse. I can take my gloves on and off and I never snag on my ring. Judith even put beautiful filigree detail under the halo setting, my ring is literally one of a kind.

I have gotten so many compliments on my ring from friends to strangers; one of my co-workers said it was "the most beautiful ring" she had ever seen. Wedding rings are a big investment and we are very happy and grateful we found Judith Arnell. For years I've been looking at rings at various stores for an upgrade from my engagement ring. I found many rings that I liked, but nothing that really blew me away. I asked a few friends where they've gone and kept hearing Judith's name. It feels great to support a local designer who uses the most beautiful jewels. Judith is incredibly charming, knowledgeable, and delightful.

I took my time looking at designs, would go home, think about it, and then came back with more thoughts. In the end, Judith set me up with a beautiful setting and a beautiful stone. She was so patient as I kept changing my mind. I now have an incredible ring. The stone is so beautiful! I was getting my hair done the other day and the stylist noticed my ring when the light kept catching the stone. Her stones are just that beautiful.

I don't take time to do this often, so I am serious as a heart attack when I say Judith is first class; the real deal! If you stop in to her shop, and by some miracle her inventory doesn't provide the exact desire of your heart, she will sit down, listen to what you have visualized, and design it on the spot! When she didn't have the exact size, color and shape of diamond I wanted in her store, she surprised me a few days later by calling me to say, "I just bought a few diamonds that meet your criteria.

I have always admired the beautiful and unusual (in a GOOD way!) creations in Judith Arnell's shop when I worked in the Pearl. Her settings were spectacular and really spoke to me. When I become engaged, I knew exactly where I wanted to pick out my ring. My fiancee and I walked in and we were dressed VERY casually. Michael came right out and gave us all the information we needed without being a bit snobby or presumptuous.

We purchased our diamond and custom setting through Michael and their service exceeded our expectations. He was so patient with me as selecting a ring can be nerve-racking. My future husband and I were in a jam when we could not find a SINGLE wedding band to match my antique style engagement ring. With less than 4 weeks to go we realized we were going to have to have something custom made. I was worried it might be too pricey. A friend suggested Judith and I am very grateful she did! Judith gave me an appointment right away to discuss my dilemma.

I am not very creative, so I thought it was going to be difficult to describe what I was looking for. I was COMPLETELY WRONG. Judith understood exactly what I was trying to say and assured me they could do it and even in my price range! NOT ONCE did she try to "up-sell" me and even though my ring was a simple one I felt like she was going to treat it like the HOPE diamond, lol.

Imagine my surprise when a get a call saying its ready, a week EARLY! I went to pick up the ring and my hand was shaking when I tried it on. It was more beautiful than I expected and matched my engagement ring perfectly. PS Lance, they don't open till 10am and the door is always open when they are. If the door was locked like you stated it was, they were CLOSED. Flannel or no, you would have to be pretty damn important to get a jewelry store to open up early just for you. This isn't hollywood and you are not Ben Affleck.

My mom and I were pulled into the store with the help of Urban Studio stationed outside, promoting their catering offerings. Filled with comlimentary champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and lox wrapped asparagus, we decided to peruse the store to see what fantasy bling they had. I agree with Angela B. - complete Cinderella store! Dave spent over 30 minutes with us, quickly learning my style preferences, and showing the latest designs that made my heart skip a beat.

It was pretty obvious that I was not going to buy anything, but he never made us feel less important than any other customer. While engagement is far away in my future, I would seriously consider returning to Judith Arnell to do more than window shop. Exquisite selection, varied range of prices ($1,500-15,000), and wonderful customer service.
