The Karat Shop began in 1976 as a wholesaler, supplying top quality jewelry to retail stores around the country. With our founder's high taste for style and fashion, our business grew tremendously. In our bid to establish a broad customer base, we decided to sell our jewelry as a retailer so it was more convenient for our customers to shop in Huntington Station.

I bought my engagement ring here. This place has a wide selection of different types of jewelry which is a good thing if you don't know what you're looking for. Sam is a pleasure to work with. The customer service and level of professional is top notch. They were extremely hospitable, time efficient, and trustworthy. I came in to have my rings resized and left as an extremely happy customer. The rings never left my site and the jeweler makes the updates right in front of you. They'll be my go to place going forward for sure.

Today I went to pick up my engagement ring and it was perfect! The whole staff was helpful and the owner gave me honest advice, and helped me make changes to the setting that made it perfect. The whole experience was wonderful and I never felt I was being forced out of my price range that I originally had told them. The cherry on top was it was ready in a day with out any issues. I can't thank this store enough and I highly recommend!

I went to The Karat Shop to find a wedding band after browsing at a few other jewelry stores. Sam was so nice to work with. He offered guidance in regards to matching the band with my engagement ring but did not press me to buy. They have such a great variety so it was easy to find something I love. I'm very happy and will certainly be a long term customer!

I waited until the last minute to purchase a marriage band. San was so instrumental in helping me make a decision. He even apologized because he felt that had he'd been given more time he could ha e saved me some additional money by ordering a less expensive ring. It had to be resized and was told "No Problem". We'll have it the next day. An absolute pleasure to do business with. Never any pressure. Definitely will be back for any future purchases.

The Karat Shop was nothing short of spectacular. I went engagement ring shopping throughout some of NYC and Long Island and can honestly say they were THE MOST helpful, compassionate, fair-priced, and patient with me during the process. At no point did I ever feel pressured into making a purchase.
