My favorite thing about Lara's Jewelry, is how kind and helpful they are regardless of budget. They want to help you find the best within your budget without judgment. I appreciate that so much. They work with every budget. My sister and her fiance got her engagement ring here and she has gotten so many compliments. The quality of the diamonds is stupendous. I've purchased small gifts for friends, family and myself. I have gotten compliments on my micropave bands. The quality is unmatched. Support family owned businesses and always try to pay cash if possible.

I rarely do reviews, but this experience had to be shared. A friend and long-term customer of Lara's recommended that I visit the showroom and talk to Roger. My girlfriend and I had already been to several retail jewelers and we actually found some engagement rings/wedding bands that we liked, but boy were they expensive! So I went to visit Roger on my own first, then brought my girlfriend with me for a second visit, which turned into one more visit before we ordered a set of custom rings.

Every step of the way, Roger was super engaging, professional, and helpful, and just a really good guy. He found a loose center stone for us in India immediately, and actually bought it without any obligation on our part. Of course, we ended up using that diamond in the engagement ring; the rings he made are absolutely stunning! And Georgie, Roger's brother, actually delivered the finished rings to us, even though we're about an hour from their store. The service, the quality, and the price at this place are unmatched; I would recommend Lara's to anyone looking for any kind of jewelry!

RUN don't walk to the BEST jewelry place in town! My husband and I stumbled upon this place exactly 6yrs ago, 2015 looking for a diamond tennis bracelet. Initially, we planned on taking our time looking at several different jewelry places. But once we met Roger we knew this was the right place. Our first impression is these people are fair, honest and will give you the best diamond at a FAIR price.

Since then we've added two wedding bands and one absolutely GORGEOUS ring that was made on site by Roger. I have referred several friends to Lara's because you will not only get the best diamonds but also not feel like you're just a dollar sign walking in. Going forward this is the ONLY place I will buy any/all jewelry from. Not just because they sell beautiful pieces, but because they are friendly and truly care about their customers.

I am so extremely happy with my most recent purchase here. Roger was very kind, genuine, and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. His prices are very fair and he has great quality jewelry. He was very welcoming and I will definitely be coming back to him in the future. If you're looking for diamonds, Roger is the guy to go to!

Can't say how happy I am that I was able to find the perfect engagment ring and wedding band. I'm so incrediby happy with Roger and Georgie. They were so professional and are not pushy. I love going in to Lara! I always find something I want! Rodger is fabulous, honest and kind. We make it a goal to make it there at least a couple times a year. You can't possibly beat their quality and prices.

Roger is the best, hands down. No need to haggle like a madman here, the prices are extremely reasonable and fair. I appreciate that he is able to work with different budgets. But it isn't only about fair prices. The quality speaks for itself. (My work colleague recommended Lara's and she has an extremely large 20 year upgrade wedding ring) Her ring wasn't cleaned for a few years but the diamonds were still catching light like crazy. I'm not married or have a money tree in my yard, so I buy smaller items like micropave bands, etc.

I get complimented daily on my rings regardless of diamond size due to the quality of the diamonds, precise setting. Go to Lara's, find something ideal. Try to find a similar/equal quality item at a different store with the same pricing and customer service. You'll be back at Lara's to purchase at the end of the day.

Roger created my mother's ring in my profile picture (2010) which I absolutely love. Over 17 years ago my dear friend referred me to Lara's and I feel so fortunate to have found them in the sea of Jewelers downtown. They are a family business and are all so kind. Recently, on a visit to upgrade my wedding ring diamond, Roger suggested a halo around my existing diamond.

It cost a fraction of a diamond upgrade and I kept my original diamond. The ring (pic attached) is the most beautiful my eyes have ever seen. What an upgrade! I am completely blown away. I love love love love it - Roger is a a true artist. I trust there creative expertise and their work is priceless! Thank you for all my beautiful pieces! I would give them 20 stars!

I first met Roger almost 3 yrs ago when I wanted a specific vintage ring for my 30th wedding anniversary. Unbelievably Roger had an authentic one from an estate that was 99% exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price! I loved his friendly, candid and honest personality. Recently all my fine jewelry was stolen including my wedding ring: I remembered Roger being trustworthy so I immediately called him with the specs of my original diamond and within 2 days he offered me 3 better options from overseas to choose from.

I really appreciate and admire his professionalism and patience as I made my decision. He answered all my questions, sent me videos of the diamonds and reassured me of his knowledge and expertise. Never once did he suggest one stone over the other. I finally chose the IF, F color diamond replacement stone within my budget! He set it in a beautiful solitaire setting, it's perfect! It was only 14 days from the day of my first phone call to picking up my beautiful ring! I will continue to refer everyone I know to Lara's Jewelry!

After months of searching for the perfect ring, going from store to store and finding the same designs, my girlfriend finally found the ring of her dreams. It was love at first sight for her and let me tell you, she has good taste. It's a beautiful ring that's G.I.A certified, even better, at an amazing price. Roger is the man.

The selection is beautiful. I think they have very good taste. I was able to find my perfect ring and diamond here. The prices are very reasonable compared with the other places in the building. Even though I didn't purchased a very high priced diamond ring, they were so helpful. It is also noted that I have shopped around many times over around that area and their offer could not be beat.

I have finally found "my" jeweler. Lara's does a fantastic job at creating custom, quality pieces at competitive prices. They made my engagement and wedding ring as well as the diamond drop earrings I wore on my wedding day and executed all of the above to perfection. I will continue to go to them until I am old and grey, for many anniversaries to come. They are the true hidden gem, in every sense.

Just wanted to say Lara's Jewelry did a FANTASTIC job! I rarely take the time from my busy schedule to write up a Yelp review but this one was well deserved. I expressed to Roger that I had sentimental value in a pair of white gold diamond earrings I owned but was very sad when I lost one, I took the one earring into Lara's Jewelry to see if they can duplicate it. I'D GIVE LARA'S JEWELRY 10 STARS IF I COULD! I went downtown with a couple of female friends to shop around for an engagement ring. We visited a few jewelers but found the most beautiful diamonds at Lara's.
