I had a very pleasant experience with this jewelry company. I wanted to surprise my wife with a specialized piece of precious stones, and the sales rep spent many hours finding alternatives for me. She was very, very professional. In the end, my wife decided to duplicate another precious ring that we purchased from Lasker's and my sales representative worked overtime to get a duplicate ring made. We are very happy with our decision to do business with this highly principled firm.

Just bought some FABULOUS diamond hoop earrings today! Hubby got a nice bracelet as well! Anyone who is visiting the Mayo Clinic area should seriously consider stopping by! My sales rep "Megan" was outstanding! And we had the whole store joining in helping us select my earrings! Like a team effort. Truly had a "fun" time! Thanks Megan and staff.

I had read a couple of reviews on Yelp about the people at this store being pretentious and I couldn't disagree more. While visiting Mayo Clinic in Rochester, I had the privilege of going in here on several occasions and each time was treated very respectfully and enjoyed my conversations with the staff. I Would absolutely recommend this store to anyone. They went above and beyond general courtesies, even enquiring about my wife's health. Truly friendly people!

The hot summer did a number on my swelling fingers. After multiple attempts to wiggle my wedding rings off by me and then the Lasker staff, I finally had to resort to getting them cut off. Leah helped me find a new setting for my diamond since my old one was very worn. She gave me undivided attention as she showed me multiple choices in my price range. Well, I just got the ring and it is beautiful!

My original diamond sparkles like new! Greatest moment was when I went to pick it up tho. The whole staff was excited for me. Great friendly professional service then and now 38 years later!

Pretentious feel and rude customer service. I recently visited Lasker Jewelers in Rochester with the intention of getting a custom engagement ring designed. I entered the store not far behind two ladies. They were quickly acknowledged and assisted by a saleswoman. I, however, was not even looked at or acknowledged by the other older saleswoman behind the other counter.

I browsed their wedding sets on my own for at least 5 minutes when another woman entered the store. The older saleswoman immediately went over and greeted this woman and inquired how she could help. I promptly left the store and headed off to the Lapidary, where I was instantly greeted and started to design my custom design on the spot!

I'm just in town for five days and needed my ring and earrings cleaned. Not only did the staff gladly clean my jewelry, but also did a complimentary mend to a pave diamond that was sideways. So generously nice! They had a wide variety of nice pieces too.

This is from my experience with the Eau Claire Store, you will not believe this! I had heard form a credible source that they are really making profit in Rochester so I want to warn unsuspecting people. BEWARE OF THESE SNEAKY FOLKS my daughter bought a ring from Laskers. She later wanted to get an estimate to sell it. She took it to 2 jewelers in Chippewa Falls.

They both said it was an old cut and not worth much, Laskers offered her almost nothing for the ring. Upon further inspection we learned that it was an old cut and an old diamond. I went in and talked to Hans the lead gemologist at Lasker.s He starting shaking like a leaf when I pinned him down after doing my research, and dropped the stone on the carpet. Furthermore, he told me that about 10% of the NEW rings sold at Laskers have used diamonds!

I was floored and asked if they felt obligated to inform the unsuspecting buyer-- he said no and they do not, he said they would admit it is asked. WHO WOULD EVEN EXPECT IT TO ASK! These people are duping uninformed consumers who live in the area. I would encourage anyone who has recently bought a diamond from these crooks to go back and demand to see the source of the stone. Diamonds can degrade with use, it is not uncommon for them to chip slightly after years of use. we have since moved to California but come back in the summer and highly recommend Anderson's jeweler's in Chippewa Falls.

They are skilled craftsmen and HONEST. I later learned that Lasker is making money in Rochester and struggling in Eau Claire and tricks like this help them to make profit off of unsuspecting people. I would be happy to explain this in as much detail as possible to anyone and do my best to help anyone from being misled by Laskers.
