Took 3 pieces of jewelry in for minor repairs and was charged $112! When I complained the woman helping me, Vera Lindeburg (owner?), was immediately in my face. Said she was a jeweler and the repair guy was a jeweler and did I think I knew more than them? Then I discovered that they hadn't replaced the clasp on my bracelet but just tightened it. I told her when I brought it in that I'd done that twice but it kept coming loose and I wanted a different clasp. Got the same in- my-face reaction as before, and said I should bring it back if it came loose again, even though I'd told her I lived 30 miles away. When I said I wouldn't be coming back she seemed genuinely shocked and hurt, and asked why! She's apparently clueless about customer service -- I'm sure never going back.

Overcharged me for minor and ultimately incomplete repairs and the cranky, combative woman at the counter got in my face when I brought it to her attention. She said she and the repair guy were both jewelers and did I think I was smarter than them? Well, after a pointless and frustrating conversation where she refused to listen, YES I DO! NEVER going back there again!

I had my engagement ring and wedding band custom made here last year. I'm extremely happy with how they turned out. HOWEVER, the customer service here is seriously lacking. I've been trying to get an appraisal for these since October 2018. I've been given multiple different answers, told I need to bring the ring in to have it done (she had the ring for 2 months when it was made), initially told I shouldn't even have it appraised/insured because she didn't feel it was appropriate (that's my business not yours), told to bring in paperwork (we did and it was from her company and she wouldn't accept it), told she didn't know what the setting was (we ordered it from her), and lastly she was rude/indifferent this last visit. I've been here 6 times over a year period trying to get this done, yet she "wasn't given sufficient time to do it".

My family had 4 generations do their jewelry here and while again I love the quality of the work, it's been too much of a hassle to have a simple appraisal done. Not worth it anymore.

I trust this place with my watches. The staff is professional and very knowledgeable. They know the inner workings of all brands, even the ones they don't carry. I brought my Wrestling digital in and they fixed it for me. And their prices for minor repairs and batteries are the best I've encountered in CA. I take exception with the one review that criticized their customer service.

I have had only pleasant encounters over the years. Perhaps customers get upset when their watches cant be repaired or cost more than they expect to fix, but the owner handles her customer fairly.

Ordered a custom Lucite gavel for my Grand-daughter's Rainbow Girl Installation on 11/23/18. Her Installation is scheduled for 1/12/19. I received my order confirmation the very same day I placed the order. When I had not received the gavel by 1/4/19, I sent an email requesting a status update to Vera. When I did not receive a response, I called the company on 1/7/19 and was told they no longer sell the Lucite gavels and I should have received an e-mail stating that. When I read the e-mail to the representative, her only response was, "well, we didn't charge your card for the order."

Ordered a clock from here on Nov 29. No response n my order. I called 2 weeks later when I didn't hear from them. E-mail them twice and called 3 times. Never got a call back or any response to my e-mails inquiring about my order. Now I will go elsewhere for the clock that was supposed to be a Christmas present. Never do business with this place.

I brought my watch here to just have one link taken off. They cannot do it the same day had to wait I almost felt like they didn't want to do it. I decided to come back in and just take my business elsewhere. There is no sense of urgency I think personally they need new management. Don't bother coming here go somewhere else

My father was a KYCH Freemason and before he passed away he told me that that he wanted me to inherit his masonic ring. Because of Lindeburgs excellent reputation and their familiarity with the freemasonry I decided to take the ring to them to get it sized for me. I knew from experience that when you get a ring resized you have to choose your jeweler carefully.

When I went in to see my newly resized ring I was happily surprised to see that the ring that once looked old and 1.5 sizes too small looked new and fit perfectly. It slid easily onto my finger and is tight enough to never fall off. Thank you dad and Vera at Lindeburg!

I placed an order online for a name badge on 3/5/2018. After a week, they send me a copy of the invoice and charged my credit card. I emailed them to follow up and also left a message twice on their answering machine. It's been 30 days and I have not received my order.

Placed an order on 11/16/17 on their website for a Past Worthy Advisor Rainbow Girls necklace. Confirmation of order on 11/16/17 via their email clearly shows PWA pendant. Three weeks later, item has not arrived. Contacted Vera at store. Was told item had gone out that day. Another week passes, no item received. Decided to order another necklace, thinking first one has been lost. Placed order on 12/11/17 at 2:00 PST. Confirmation of 2nd order placed 12/11/17 received from them via email. Today, 12/13/17 I call to obtain status on both orders. Vera states she just got the second order today (2 days later) and 'put it aside because it looked like a duplicate order'.

There was no communication to me about the decision so if I hadn't called, I wouldn't know they hadn't filled the second order either. Long story short, Vera gave me several different stories about each order, was unable to find the 2nd order item on their own website, told me it had to be special ordered (not stated on website either), told me my first order had gone out yesterday, but then backtracked and said first order had never gone out as someone realized the order was completed incorrectly, but again, never contacted me to tell me.

I pointed out that I had been given different answers to my questions each time I asked. "The order went out yesterday". The order went out last week". "The item has to be specially ordered and hasn't been sent" Vera felt I was being rude to her and she didn't like it because she was the owner. A customer asking pertinent questions about the status of an order that's been 4 weeks in process and her clear lack of knowing what was going on with the order wasn't rude, it was a very frustrated customer trying to get a straight answer. In the end. I cancelled the orders. This was a very nasty experience that I will be happy to share with fraternal organizations.

I have been looking for a store like this since I moved back to California. The store is amazing and had all the masonic items I needed. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I will be back soon and will share with others about this store.

Lindeburg and Co. recently repaired 2 gold bracelets, shortened a gold chain, and repaired my grandfather's antique Lord Elgin watch for me, and they did a perfect job on each of these items for a very reasonable price. In addition they replaced the batteries in 2 watches for me for $8/each. I had taken my antique watch to another repair shop nearby, and not only did it stop working soon after the other shop "repaired it", but they did not warranty the repair, whereas Lindeburg gave me a one year warranty on the watch repair. Finally, I have been searching on-line for small 14K gold hoop earrings, and Lindeburg let me choose a pair from their catalogue and ordered them for delivery in 2 days. Lindeburg is my new favorite jewelers for buying and repairing jewelry and watches! HOWEVER, it took me several "drive bys" to go into Lindeburg.

I noticed the store a few months ago, and I searched for it on Yelp, and found no reviews. The lack of Yelp reviews made me hesitant to visit the store. After my excellent recent experience at Lindeburg, I was curious about why they did not have more Yelp reviews, and I looked deeper, and found eight 5* reviews that are "not currently recommended" (by Yelp). I use Yelp a lot, and thought I understood their rating system, but I have now learned that I need to peruse the "not recommended" reviews too!

I brought in my mothers wedding ring set that I have been wearing for 14 years since she passed away, my daughter is getting married and I asked her if she would like her grandmothers ring. I took it to Lindeburg and Company they resized it, fixed a prong, and polished it up and put it in a ring box. Well when I picked it up OMG it was BEAUTIFUL! My daughter is going to cry when her fiance gives it to her, and I am going to cry when I see it on her finger for the first time. I couldn't thank them enough, they did an AMAZING JOB! And they are so friendly!

To be honest, I have yet to step foot inside the store. But I called them to ask a few questions and the lady I spoke to (Judy, I think, was her name) was extremely sweet and helpful. I am definitely planning to use their engraving services!

Just wanted to say Lindeburg has reasonable prices and great customer service. The owner really cares. Come on in and ask for Vera. Their quality of work speaks for it self. I would not go anywhere else. Margo

If you like friendly & personalized service, this is the place to be! I needed a necklace (purchased elsewhere) engraved for the next business day. The friendly folks at Lindeburg checked with their engraver to make sure he could handle it. Turned out I needed it 5 hours earlier than I thought. I called and sure enough, they had it ready for me! It was my first time in there, but definitely not the last! The friendly service and interest was absolutely the TOPS! Easy to find and easy parking, too.
