Mallers Building Ethan Lord Jewelers has beyond professional and helpful staff, an amazingly quick turnaround time, and flawless results. I came in looking like a lost child, but left Ethan Lord's showroom confident and educated about my sparkly new engagement ring. BEST of the best. Howard Frum not only has a huge selection, when it comes to purchasing a watch, he is as fair and honest as it gets. To say I HIGHLY recommend he and his staff, is an understatement. H.R. Jewelers is by far the BEST place to get your antique jewelry serviced!

The Jewelers Center is housed in the Mallers Building, a magnificent structure built in 1912. With over 180 jewelers under one roof, you won't find more jewelers, or more inventory, anywhere in the Midwest. From one-of-a-kind estate pieces to custom-designed rings, you're sure to find exactly what your heart desires.
We encourage clients that are taking public transit on the Brown, Green, Orange, Pink and Purple lines to get off at the stations at Washington/Wabash. Transit stops are a short walk to the Jewelers Center. For our driving customers, the best way to get to our store would be to park at Grant Park North parking garage at 25 N. Michigan Avenue.

How has nobody written a review of this place before? I am not sure how to explain this place. It's half office building, half shopping mall, all jewelry. Most of the people here want to sell you an expensive engagement ring or loose diamonds (I assume there's a lot of wholesale here). That notwithstanding, they do have all kinds of jewelry, even cheaper stuff, silver, semiprecious stones, etc.

I went on a Saturday which I don't recommend; even though the building is open, a lot of the stores are closed. Interesting place, and probably a goldmine (pun intended) for jewelry buffs. Stop at the front desk to ask for help, the young lady there helped steer me to what I was looking for.
