Today, J.T. owns and operates Maryville Jewelers in the heart of downtown Dalton. After some 40 years in the jewelry business, David retired and now enjoys his time on the golf course. Pat has retired and is enjoying his retirement Harley rides throughout the South. Since the very beginning, Maryville Jewelers has been a mom and pop store whose longtime employees truly bring a family atmosphere.Maryville Jewelers has always put customer service first. Although the store has grown in size through the years, it continues a strong tradition of homespun customer service, the highest quality jewelry and unmatched friendliness, all principles that have guided the business since 1974.

Maryville Jewelers has been my go to place for birthday's, Christmas Mother's Day, graduations and anniversaries for the past 35 years. I would not go anywhere else for my jewelry needs. They have excellent customer service, a good selection, and fair prices. Several pieces that I have purchased for my wife and daughter have been appraised for insurance reasons. In all cases, the appraisal values proved that this jewelry store has fair prices and quality merchandise.

We were refused service for the resizing of my wedding set (not bought through Maryville.) The engagement has an opal and they claimed that the wedding band had emeralds and refused to resize either of them. We found a knowledgeable jeweler in Chattanooga (Sam Edwards Jewelers) who informed us that Maryville was wrong and that the green stones are not emeralds (my fiance was sure the ring did not have emeralds, so we were surprised that we were refused service due to this).
He also has no problem working with opals, which was why Maryville refused to resize my engagement ring. Not sure why they would refuse service when other jewelers can complete the resizing with no issue. They can probably do normal jewelry, but I wouldn't want anyone working on my jewelry who can't tell the difference between emeralds and green moissanite.

This is the most awesome jewelry store. My husband and I went in back in February looking for Pandora bracelets. We went back today to get my wedding set repaired. We had the greatest experience. The staff is extremely helpful, courteous and so nice. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. The repair on my rings astounded me, they looked like they did when my husband first bought them for me. We will be back.

Excellent Jeweler, stopped in for a necklace repair. Received prompt, courteous, friendly and professional service. Very pleased as a walkin I did not expect to be greeted by a wonderful team of staff who efficiently handled my request with ease. Highly recommend, store appearance is clean and well placed with many beautiful pieces.
