I absolutely love pearls, love the ceremony of breaking open my own picked clam to find my pearl, it was fun, cute, I got a pink/gold pearl i like 15.99$ price but it's a scam, the lady pushed us to buy either a ring or a necklace post, she pulled out crazy diamond rings and necklace hooks! I even told her No I only want the 15.99 but she wouldn't listen.my man just to shut her up bought the cheapest necklace top that she finally pulled out.

My boyfriend and I came by yesterday (6/12/2021) in hopes of finding myself a nice necklace. Salesperson Sunyoo helped us out in picking a pearl from the oysters and insisted that my pearl was so "amazing" and "unique" which was clearly a sales tactic but it's okay - I let her do her job. After picking out a setting a necklace to go with it she took all the pieces and told me she was going to set the pearl for me and when she came back she informed me not to touch the setting for 24 hours so I did as I was told and did not open the box until the next night which is today (6/13/2021).

To my surprise, the second I opened the box the removed the tape the pearl came off! I'm am in utter shock as to how something that was so expensive wasn't set properly and I will be taking this to corporate in order to have it corrected. I live over 2 hours away from the store which I'm now convinced is a tourist trap set to rip people off because they won't be able to easily come back to return their items.

I have been to other Pearl company locations before and this experience was definitely not what I was expecting from this brand. $300 is definitely not cheap and people should be aware that they clearly do not train their staff well enough to handle their products.

We were so excited to share this experience with our daughter. We were running behind and checked their hours to make sure we wouldn't miss it. Arrived at 6pm when they had 7pm listed as their closing time. They were already putting things away and told me they were closed. I bought a cute little necklace set for my daughter from Amazon for a fraction of the price instead. These selfish employees lost their employer some business.

Jewelry is good. pearl with gold is very expensive, but with silver is ok. Nice variety they have. also staff is really friendly.

I would give zero stars if possible. The jewelry here is Beyond overpriced and over time does not hold up. Also the return policy if you happen to have been given a gift is such a joke it's actually worse than the jewelry. The pics I have uploaded are of a necklace I unfortunately received as a gift even after while my friend was purchasing a ring and wanting to share the love, the salesperson asked me what I liked and when he didn't have it he chose to lie and then argue with me about the necklace I sadly was gifted.

I only collect and like peacock blue pearls-the large vibrant blue ones I posted to compare are peacock blue- the necklace at best looks a gloomy silver or green tint to me. The necklace is supposedly silver however in the pic u see it's only stamped on the top of the pendant loop, which is a complete separate piece on the pendant. So who knows what the pendant is actually made of?

No clue what sort of pearl freshwater etc, nothing valuable for sure. My friend decided to side with the "pearl professional " and still bought this and earned this awful salesman(he was male) commission despite the disrespect. The additional pics are of pearls I opened from the shell and had mounted in 14k solid gold! Yeah that rust colored crud is the cheap glue they use to mount the pearl onto your $$$ setting.

These are 10 years old and are kept in a safe pouch and away from open air.if the glue looks this bad on something solid gold, I'm horrified to see what a ring costing over$300 looks like and isn't gold. I also have had atrocious customer service from corporate and I hope none of your customers ever has to deal with sent out repairs and the awful dread of trying to reach Hawaii during their business hours Please skip this place and just buy from a reputable jeweler.

Tourist Trap. Keep on walking and mind your business, something I learned the hard way. The secret is getting you by the deal of $14.99 to open a pearl & you'll pay $260+ for the mount ( I got a 14k gold ring, no diamonds). That's how they make their money. It's very easy to spend your money once you're there because the employees are so enthusiastic and everything is laughter and sweetness. Later on, I took my ring to a jewelry expert and is worth nothing! So sad. I could of saved myself by simply walking away. I'm returning, if that's even possible.

I've always wanted to shuck an oyster! I was sooo excited to stumble across this place while taking a family trip to Pier 39. The lady who helped us was very nice and just as excited. Originally I just wanted to take my pearl home loose, but she showed us some ring settings and I fell in love. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back next time we are in San Francisco.

The price displayed was $14.99 but then they tried to make me pay $200. I told them I didn't want the pearl anymore but this horribly rude woman told me I already obligated myself to buy the pearl since I cracked it open. I did NOT sign anything saying I obligated myself to do something so i'm not sure why that woman told me what I did or did not oblige myself to do. I should not have paid for it but I did. I made a huge scene and made sure the people around me knew I was dissatisfied. Do not go here. They're thieves.

What a fun, unique experience! Definitely a tourist trap, but who cares?!? Be prepared for the attempt to sell you the most expensive setting. However, if you remain adamant about what you want to look at, they will eventually bring out the less expensive options. My friend and I ultimately picked out settings for around $100 each, and walked away with an awesome souvenir and memory!

The salesperson was very warm and welcoming when I brought my jewelry I purchased for a refund. I didn't wear the jewelry I bought in Honolulu and wanted to return which was all accepted with my receipt and in original condition. I told the salesperson about my experience at the Na Hoku store in which I felt judged when I returned jewelry there. She said oh, that shouldn't have happened! It should be a happy experience. What a lovely store!

Scam! Stay the hell away! Promised us a certificate for the white gold and diamonds setting and conveniently denied giving one after swiping our card! Said the sales guy must be mistaken! Well then I'm mistaken in paying for it! Give my 550 bucks back!

I was here a few weeks ago to fix a jewelry and buy a pearl for a ring. There was a a person a head of us and we waited until it was our turn. Another rich looking customer came after us and the manager instead of serving us jumped to serve them and we had to wait a few more minutes until another staff (Erika) came to us. I tried to read the name of lady who refused to help us (who was the store manager) but it was hard to read from distance. Erika was a nice person and if It wasn't for her I would give this business 1 star rating.

This store is amazing! Buy a pearl shell for $14.99 and you'll get a chance to see and open a real pearl shell. The pearl color is a surprise, you never know which color your pearl will be until you'll open the shell. Every color have a symbol of something else. Here some that I remembered: White: truth, honestly, peace Gold: riches, wealth, success Pink: health, love, faith Blue: confident, loyalty, courage Silver: wisdom, self control, security Purple: artistic, creativity, passion Black: independence, balance, control (I might got confuse with some colors) We got white pearl which is the most popular pearl. Good luck!

4 stars why? Because it is the best place ever but when they start showing u jewelry its the most expensive kind. Over all the experience was fun and it was educational about learning about the pearl and how it is made. Our sales person was soo nice and sweet she made me and my boyfriend's experience funa nd entertaining i loved it! I would definat2 go back!

Strange but uber happy little outfit in Fisherman's Wharf. They were shouting a chant over each clam before smacking it to find a pearl inside. They charge $15 per pearl, regardless of the size, but then gut you for a setting to use it in. We were happy to watch the chanting from afar and then move along. The sales people were really after us in a super pushy, hyper way which just made us walk faster. Not my kind of thing but for those who like to pretend they are going pearl diving (cough) and/or into jewelry this is for them.

Once you're reeled in. you're bound to spend a small fortune here! It's a nice tourist attraction and experience. you pick your own oyster, knock three times and say "ALOHA!" and they go through the gooey oyster to find your pearl. THEN, they clean it up and drill a hole through it and get you with all the different settings. once you pick a setting, they'll sell you a chain to go with it (if you chose a necklace), and voila. you can spend over $300 on a pearl necklace that started at just $14.99. Cute stuff though!
