Great experience at Shaw's R&R Jewelry and Loan with Rodney Jr.! He has been extremely helpful on multiple occasions and has an array of knowledge on everything in the store. He has assisted my boyfriend and me when picking out a James Avery necklace, replaced the batteries in (3) different watches for a great price, and was able to clean/appraise a diamond ring for me with highly accurate detail.

I know I can take anything he tells me at face value and appreciate his honesty and humor. Clean and friendly environment with high end and good quality merchandise. Highly recommend stopping by and make sure you ask for Rodney Jr.!

I've been coming to this place for years and only have great things to say. Rodney Jr. has been my go to guy with anything jewelry related, ever since I could remember. Highly knowledgeable with top notch service. They have a huge selection new and used firearms and can order you just about anything if they don't have what your looking for. I've bought everything from video games to home entertainment speakers to a dyson air purifier to a generator. They have a little of everything and all for stupid good prices. It's one of those place you need to drop in weekly just so see what they have new on the shelves.

Best place you can go to pawn your jewelry great customer service friendly and helpful staff. Better than any pawn shop they give the most for your items and charge the least interest so it's easier to redeem your items I highly recommend this place to anyone

This shop have a lot of varieties. There were so much to pick from. Staff were very respectful. Kayla (I hope I'm correct) was very professional. I got a very smooth service. I'll definitely come back again and recommend it to friends.

Hello good evening to everyone I just want to start out by saying that Shaw R&R has the best staff they are amazing people thank you again to Carla and Taja for helping me today with my FFL transfer. the costumer service is beyond outstanding they are very helpful and easy going and committed to there reputation to being the best Pawn shop in town! if you never been here before to buy guns, pawn any of your belongings this is the place to go hands down there very honest and clean and are masters of there craft especially in the jewelry section amazing work I won't go any where else in Houston thanks again for the wonderful experience Thank you to mark aswell.

Went in and was helped by Carla. She was easy and friendly with a wonderful smile. They were very detailed took pics of my item which really reassured me that my item will be cared for. She made sure I was aware of all important dates concerning picking up my item. Wonderful experience while dealing with a financial hardship. That's how things should be.

The store itself is very clean and had some beautiful earrings on display. However my experience with selling my ring was ACTUALLY suspicious. I came in about 30 minutes before closing and had a blue diamond ring my grandmother gave me. First off no one working there acknowledged my presence, and the man working the jewelry counter didn't look up or say hello after I was standing in front of him for a bit so I had to present myself first. Anyway, I truly did not care about how much money I was going to get for the ring, however I expected at least $100.

The man that was working the jewelry counter takes it from me, doesn't ask any questions or says anything, looks at the ring itself for about 45 seconds and tells me he can do $25. Which I thought was a joke at first. He didn't explain how he got to that price point he just told me he could do $25 dollars and stared at me. Like if he had told me the diamond was fake or something I would understand but he literally didn't say anything about it.

I told him the ring originally sold for $550 dollars, and he just told me it was a markup by the seller. LOL so I'm 110% sure I was just totally ripped off but I was going to throw the ring away anyway so getting $25 instead of nothing was ok. But yeah I don't recommend anyone with anything they truly want to get money for go here, or at least to that man.

This place is a real gem in NW Houston! I often like the name brand items and that usually means I will be paying for it! Shaws R & R is always giving the best prices. I got this Mac computer recently for an absolute fraction of Apple's monopolistic expensive pricing! I always feel like I'm getting the best deal and trust me. your girls looking for a bargain.

To end this much needed review, Shaws R & R has some of the best staff workers. A lot of places can make you feel uncomfortable when shopping and this is not the case at Shaws! They are great about offering you the best price and shopping experience! Definitely Recommend these Pawn Kings!

I really appreciate there service every time, I patronize there business all of the associates are respectable to the consumer no matter your ethnicity I really appreciate that of business we get quality when you purchase their merchandise. Overall they are nice people.

Very nice and friendly people in this place. I went in looking for something specific and they had it, and although it was pricey they gave me a big discount off the sticker price.it was not unreasonable in the end. The ladies working in there were super nice to me, which I greatly appreciated. That makes a huge difference to me. I recommend this pawn shop.

My husband and I have been here twice now. They are extremely friendly. We went in looking for some firearms for the house and the salesman was not pushy at all and had his complete attention on our needs the whole time. Would highly recommend this place.

This is a great place to shop! I have always looked to them when I need to buy jewelry or get my jewelry repaired and cleaned. They also have a great selection of firearms and other items. I got a great deal on a firearm from them! Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Shaw's for years and have never had a bad experience. The jeweler is awesome and he does beautiful work. Very trustworthy for any service I have had done. They also give back to the community by supporting area schools.

Have been coming here for years and have enjoyed great service and friendly employees. Have had several transfers go through using Shaw's and have never had problems. Their inventory turns over a little slow but they are easy to deal with. So I was surprised yesterday when I stopped in after work to have a watch bracelet resized. I thought this would be an easy task and was willing to pay.

I was informed by two employees, who didn't seem otherwise occupied, that I would have to leave it there, it could not be done while I waited. What? Just to take some links out? What would happen if I needed additional sizing if it wasn't right the first time, does it then turn into a multiple day ordeal? Can you imagine buying a new watch there and not being able to walk out of the store with it sized? Watch and clock repair place down the street did it for me in 45 seconds for $10 - money and goodwill that Shaw's will not be able to recoup.

R&R is the place to drop off your watch for band adjustments, watch batteries etc. I have been a customer there for my jewelry repairs several years and I am always satisfied!

I just had my watch battery and clasp pin was replaced for $17. My watch looks great! I missed it. I think they have some beautiful pieces in there too.
