I was shopping with a friend. We had pieces we wanted to update. Abra was our sales consultant. What a sweetie and very knowledgeable. She took so much time with us and then introduced us to Brian. The two of them talked with us and showed us various pieces and ideas. The final products are stunning. What a wonderful shopping experience. If you're looking for jewelry you need to visit Shelle. I just can't say enough.

I was referred to Shelle Jewelers by a good friend. I had been looking for a jeweler for several years and could not find one. From the moment I walked in and I met with Abra I knew that's I could trust them with what I needed to be done. I had several pieces of jewelry that I wanted to have redone and I was a little nervous to begin with but Abra assured me that they would do the best job on what I needed.

I had a bracelet that was my late mother's that was very special to me and I wanted to have it redone. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but when I saw it I was beyond thrilled. I just don't feel like a customer I feel like a member of the family and it's nice to have that kind of connection with someone who I know I can trust. If you need a jeweler this is the place to go!

Shelle has the very best people you'd ever want to know. They are really wonderful and take the time to get to know you. It's a small, family-run jeweler that just gets the details right. Shelle Jewelers in Northbrook was great! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had a watch repaired and a battery changed on another watch. The prices were reasonable and it was done in a timely manner. I was especially impressed by how carefully they documented the watches and their condition when they took it into their possession. Everything went into the computer with pictures and a copy for both of us. This was very reassuring.

A friend in the business recommended Shelle Jewelers to make some repairs to a piece of fine jewelry. I am SO happy he did, because their work is impeccable. They perfectly captured everything I asked for, and the finished piece looks better than I ever imagined! It was a pleasure working with Abra at every stage of the process; A+ for customer service.

When my husband mentioned he was buying my jewelry for a milestone bday I told him I wanted the new peloton bike and tread instead. Cleary this pandemic has changed me because usually I'd be all about the jewels.but all the bling isn't quite as fun when you don't leave your house. So I was surprised when I walked into Shelle Jewelers and saw they were packed on a Friday afternoon with couples mostly elderly couples jewelry shopping.

These customers clearly have more active social lives than I do these days or are planning to take out all the jewels post pandemic. Not a bad idea. You may be wondering what I was doing there if I said no to jewelry, but I was there to take a few links off an a new band I bought for my apple watch at Nordstrom's recent anniversary sale. Despite them being busy I was helped right away and the watch band fit perfectly a few min later.

The longest process was the checkout where they needed to record my life story and all the deets about the watch band, but besides that it was easy peasy. They even had lots of yummy individually wrapped snacks/candy for people to munch on, which wasn't possible with a mask on, but my kids were thrilled with the candy when I picked them up from school a few min later.

While the checkout process was happening I did get a chance to look at all the pretty jewels and it definitely made me second guess my bday present choice. So perhaps I'll be jewelry shopping next time and also happy I have a good store nearby to help fix the current jewelry I have.

Old school business, they take care of their customers. Father and son, Manny and Brian are the real deal, warm and engaging, they have a great selection, very fair, no intimidating practices here, always a pleasant experience.

A disclaimer that I have never BOUGHT jewelry here, but I have had multiple watches repaired and, most recently, my rings re-sized, so my review is limited to their repair services. I've been coming to Shelle for decades - since they were located on Vernon in Glencoe. It was always my go-to for replacing watch batteries and having watches re-sized.

Recently I needed to have my wedding rings (purchased out of state) re-sized (made smaller) and after doing a brief Yelp search, Shelle was really the only place I even considered. They were a pleasure to work with. Pricing for ring re-sizing was based on the number of stones on the ring, but my two rings came out to about $150, which was what I expected.

The work is very high quality and I know that they stand behind it. My only complaint was that I was quoted a 2 week turnaround and it ended up taking 3. But overall, the job was very well done and I believe appropriately priced. I will continue to come here for my watch and jewelry repair needs.

A joy to work with Lisa at Shelle Jewelers. They have the best merchandise and know how to find the best item for you. Lisa proved to be most adept at solving problems. After finding my bracelet, she discovered my order would have to be shipped. She then got back to me to make sure everything was completed properly. Can't ask for more.

I'm a big fan of this place. It's an old school style, family business that has a nice selection. I purchased a high end smartwatch here and now have all our family watches serviced here. They are very friendly and professional. Their charges are reasonable and they seem to hire nice, down to earth people. Inside they have snacks and drinks. always a plus while you're waiting.

Parking is easy and out front. This is not an intimidating jeweler who makes you feel like a cheapskate for not having a $1,400 watch. I haven't purchased any other jewelry here nor have had more than a band or battery changed, but would recommend this business wholeheartedly.

We had some jewelry from an estate that we were going to distribute, and needed some guidance about values of the pieces. Shelle Jewelers was absolutely great. We didn't know much about the pieces, and they sat down with us, looked at every piece, treated us respectfully even though we didn't know what we were doing. We had a number of pieces but Manny made us feel at home, comfortable, and never rushed. I can't recommend them enough for their friendly, accommodating service!

My favorite inexpensive necklace was starting to tarnish, so I brought the necklace to Shelle Jewelers to have it replicated in 14K gold. Wow! Could not be happier with how the necklace turned out. I know where my necklace everyday and get many compliments. Would highly recommend Shelle Jewelers.

Told me an accurate cost up front and gave me a specific date of completion. Excellent customer service and I was in and out quickly on my way to work. Work still remains to be done, so I will follow up once I see their craftmanship but I expect great things. *update- the work was done on time and the repairs are flawless.

Manny & Brian are the best! They have been our family jeweler for three generations and when it came time for me to go ring shopping they did not let me down.
