Services
Smith & Son has been in the jewelry and watch business since 1918. Our services include jewelry repair, watch repair, engraving, restringing, and appraisals for insurance purposes. Each repair job takes about a week to 10 days to complete. Be sure to give us sufficent time to finish your repairs. We work on all pocket watches and wristwatches, including the following: Accutron, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron & Constantin, Hamilton, Ebel, Raymond Weil, and Breitling, just to name a few.

I can't say enough about Smith & Sons Jewelers. We were looking for wedding gifts for our children and we had jewelry that needed repairs and they were able to help us with everything. I was greeted by friendly, down to earth and helpful staff. We had been to several other jewelers but felt like a number and the inventory felt gaudy. These folks carry a variety of classic jewelry for a broad appeal. If we went here first we would have saved alot of time searching!

I shopped various well-known jewelry stores in the Enfield area for estimates to repair and restore my grandmothers 100-year-old engagement ring as well as my mother's 60-year-old diamond engagement ring. Toms work on both of these beloved pieces exceeded my expectations! He was able to restore them to the original appearance which was a pleasant surprise to me as the decades of wear and tear were removed. Right away my fiance and I were met with a warm welcome and helpful service, which meant a lot to us because we didn't know what we were doing, and were nervous about being judged or spoken down to. I brought two rings to Tom needing alterations that no other jewler in the area would accommodate. One was an antique ring inherited from my mother needing sizing. The second, was a Lady Di style emerald ring soldered to a diamond surround jacket that I wanted separated from the ring. Tom had no hesitation accommodating either repair and did an excellent job on both pieces and in rapid time. Tom is a skilled and talented jewler.a diamond in the rough! Brought a piece of jewelry in to be sized. Was told 7-10 days. 3 weeks is what it ended up taking, which was a little disappointing. However after finally receiving the ring it did not disappoint at all, they did a beautiful job and the price was very reasonable. I would have def given a 5 star review if only the amount of time was more accurately quoted. I would recommend, and I would go back because the quality was worth the wait, however if I were to return I'd be hesitant to believe any quoted time frame.
