I lay away close to 1000 dollar piece like bracelet or knecklace in January for my wife for Christmas never kill my wallet always helpful and non judgmental I come in on lunch to make a 100 dollar payment (I'm a mechanic greasy dirty dingy also probably stink from being in the heat) treats everybody like their Gene Simmons

After 35 years, my wedding set really needed to be replaced. Steels was very patient in helping my husband and I find something we both liked that wasn't "trendy" but reflected 35 years of love and commitment. I am so happy with my new wedding set.

My husband and I went to get an engagement ring custom made at Steels mid November, the people were friendly and very helpful at this store, that is not why I am giving this store 1 star. We talked to the man that makes the custom rings and I told him what I wanted and he asked for my ring size twice. I informed him both times, and when picking up my ring it was 3 sizes too small.

We called the store and they said no problem, we can resize and it'll be done the next day. The next day, you could visibly see where they attached another part of a ring to expand the size, there were dents in the ring, a crack that your fingernail could fit in, scratches, and was not even in a complete circle, some parts were flat. We paid $2,000 for this ring, and have had to go back 2 times now because they can't seem to get it right. Needless to say we will NEVER purchase from Steels Jewelry again. Hopefully when we pick the ring up again they changes are made, but it's absolutely ridiculous going back 1 time, let alone 2.

Promptly upon arriving to the store I was greeted by two people and and walked to the watch displays. Jessica was very courteous and helpful. I left with a new watch and would certainly shop here again

I've had 2 experiences at Steel's: they repaired a gold bracelet that was snapped in half, and they resized a ring for me. Both times the items were returned to me punctually and looking like the original condition, as though no one had ever touched them before. Prices are reasonable and the representatives I worked with were very sweet. I live in Tallahassee but am happy to occasionally make the drive for folks who have proven trustworthy.

5 stars all around! I cannot say enough good things about the people who work here! We received amazing customer service and care from the time we walked in the door to pick out rings and it still continues months later as I am writing this review. All of the staff go above and beyond to ensure all of their customers are satisfied, even if you do not live locally. Last but not least, I need to give a special shout out to Jessica! She is a rockstar for sure!

The staff is SO very friendly and makes every visit a memorable one! Every mother's day they help my little boy by giving him undivided attention and showing him each individual Pandora charm to choose from, making it fun for him. Most recently they helped me by building a new piece of jewelry and it could not have turned out any better. Complimentary cleanings for all wedding bands that are purchased in-store. Found Steel's to get my wife ring fixed when we were there. Moved to several other state since then And I'm still using them. Even living across the country the service is still the same. They go out of their way to make everything perfect. I have had picture emailed to me on short notice and they always come through. Highly Recommended isn't enough! Thanks again

Steel's Is fantastic. They not only have a great selection of new jewelry, different designers, a wonderful helpful staff, great showrooom, but more importantly, they are very caring and talented. I brought my Grandmother's eternity band, and a cocktail engagement ring to them to be repaired. These are very important sentimental pieces of jewelry in my life.

Both had been cut badly after she passed to remove them. The cocktail ring was missing one of two centerpiece diamonds with missing prongs and the state of that ring seemed liked possibly it would never be again as Gram had it. I definitely thought that I'd be lucky to have them be in just an ok condition someday. Thier work was amazing. To say that they brought my Gram's rings back to pristine condition would be an understatement. It is, as she wore it originally.

Having met my wife during a short stint at high school in Valdosta, we frequently make trips back here to visit the family. I used to have a tradition of buying her things from Nijem's Jewlery -- kinda an inside joke because their TV ads during the 90's made us laugh, but also for sentimental value being from the place we met. Unfortunately with them closing, I needed to find someplace new to buy a Christmas gift this year - luckily my brother-in-law pointed me to Steel's as his go-to place in town.

I arrived with my three year old in tow (figured it was time to start teaching him about buying women jewelry for Christmas) and walked into a beautifully decorated shop in a nice, small shopping center. Greeted immediately as I entered the door and assigned an assistant I quickly went to the women's watches and started sifting through the selection.

I told the lady what I was looking for and we quickly narrowed it down. I (with the 3 year old's assistance) picked a watch -- midway through them preparing it for sale I changed my mind and was so happy that it wasn't a big deal when I picked a different watch. They gift wrapped it nicely. I was very happy with the service and glad to have found a new place in Valdosta for the sentimental gift giving tradition.
