Stuart Benjamin is, by far, my favorite jeweler! I've been a loyal customer for over 4 years and I can't imagine going to anyone else! No matter what you're visit is for, they will give you 1st class treatment! They truly care about their customers! Can't thank them enough for all they do for me!

My engagement ring was custom made from this place and I absolutely love it. Jeff helped us design the ring (down to the very last detail) and it came out beautifully! I highly recommend this place because of their excellent customer service and attention to detail. You can tell that they put a lot of thought and effort into making custom rings that are perfect for the bride.

This is a much overdue review of my experience in '21 when I worked with folks at Stuart Benjamin on a custom engagement ring. Long story short, I highly recommend Stuart Benjamin and Jeff Teel for any custom jewelry project. They are professional, patient, and respectful and will do everything in their power to make sure that the jewelry is perfect.

The result of my project is a stunning and absolutely gorgeous engagement ring, to which she said yes! When I first contacted Stuart Benjamin through their website, I was in search of a skilled jeweler who can help me create a one-of-a-kind engagement ring using a family diamond. I knew I found the right person when the first email response included a list of change recommendations to the design that I attached in my inquiry with reasons that a novice, like myself, could understand.

Over the next 3 months, Jeff and I exchanged a dozen emails, created several wax models, and met a handful of times to iterate and perfect the ring. Both my fiance and I are in love with the ring and are thankful for everything that Stuart Benjamin and Jeff have done for us! We highly recommend this place and will be back for future projects.

Stuart Benjamin & Co. is 5 stars! I can't say enough about the service I received from Jeff and Stuart. It all started with my wedding ring of 36 years (37 if you count the year of engagement) in December. I wanted to re-work the ring to add a larger center diamond and change the side diamonds to blue sapphires. Jeff really to the time to look at my ring and understand my goals for it.

He honestly told me that it wouldn't be the same ring when I was done and it was beautiful and balanced as it was. I opted to have it re-sized (I hadn't worn it for six months), change the side stones to sapphires and some refurbishment. This entailed separating the three rings, sizing independently and re-joining. Stuart, Jeff and I all agreed on the size.

When I came to pick it up, it was the size agreed upon but my hands must have been cold that day.and I have been holiday eating (salt and wine) and it was too small. Stuart's first words were "we're going to make this right". He sent me home with a sizing ring of the new proposed size to wear for the weekend just to be sure. While I was there, I started talking with Jeff about a custom ring I had seen.

He then showed me a ring he had designed with many of the elements I was looking for. That became the basis of my ring and we took it from there. I took some diamonds I had special attachment to, added a few colored stones and a nice center stone. They detailed the price of each component of the ring and I thought it was very reasonably priced. It was delivered on the date promised and is beautiful! I give my highest recommendation about this store for honesty, service and pricing.

I love this business. They were so nice, listened carefully to what we were requesting, and all of the repairs, resizings, and custom work came out great. They are my new go-to jewelry business!

I had put off for decades having some work done. Receiving my Mother's vintage engagement ring setting and her wanting to see it set with my birthstone motivated me to get it done quickly before she passed. Being vintage and needing repair I was looking for a reputable company with experience. Stuart Benjamin was exactly the place. They repaired my Mother's ring beautifully and even found me the tourmaline I required, mined locally here in San Diego.

It was the perfect size and color. The ring turned out beautifully and my Mother was so pleased to see it. I then had them rework an opal pendant I had, adding a bail with a Pariba Tourmaline I had purchased decades ago. It also turned out gorgeous. Lastly I had them set a large Tourmaline into a necklace, adding diamonds to match a ring I had (that they resized for me).

Both turned out better than I had hoped. I am so grateful to have found this wonderful, family-owned company. All of the staff are knowledgable and friendly. It is a wonderful place to work with, especially if you have something special you need in the way of custom work. I highly recommend them.

This place is the best! I went there because I lost a tiny sapphire on my antique wedding ring. Blake and Benjamin were not only extremely knowledgable, but also super friendly and helpful. They helped rebuild my ring with beautiful craftsmanship. I can't be more satisfied! I'd totally recommend them for repairs, custom-design jewelry or picking out something from their in-store collections.

I cannot recommend Stuart Benjamin highly enough. I went in with an idea of having a custom engagement ring made and Jeff went far and beyond to make it happen. He is an expert at his craft and his dedication was truly remarkable. An incredible experience!

In the mid- to late-80's, I was a happy customer of the Benjamin family of jewelers at their store in Mission Valley. I was sad to see them close. In the time since, I have been unable to find a jewelry store with the same fine workmanship and excellent customer service. Until now. When I recently discovered that Stuart Benjamin had opened a store in Mission Valley I was so pleased.

I took in my engagement ring for some significant repairs. A diamond needed to be located and matched to a diamond set to the side of the center, large diamond. Several prongs had broken. 35 years of marriage had taken on a toll on my ring! My engagement ring looks beautiful and even better, the stones are securely set. I have found my forever jeweler!

The location is easy to find. Stuart Benjamin and his staff are knowledgeable and courteous. However, their best quality is honesty. They are trustworthy. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

After shopping around for a wedding band to fit my family heirloom engagement ring, we became frustrated as nothing looked quite right. We came in with some ideas to discuss, and Jeff was incredibly accommodating and on board with making exactly what I was envisioning.

His attention to detail is remarkable, and he was very attentive via e-mail during the back and forth process as we made tweaks before finalizing the design. I had heard about Stuart Benjamin's so I went over to the store and had an amazing experience with Stuart himself. this man was patient with me in choosing an upgrade wedding ring for my wife's 60th birthday. I didn't know a lot about the process of having jewelry made just for me. My friend Helen recommended Stuart and his team. I called to find out more and make an appointment, if needed. Jeff was the person who took my call - He was very friendly, took his time to explain the process to me. When we went in a couple of weeks later, we had to wait to talk to Jeff for a bit - he was helping someone else, and making sure she got all of her questions answered - and then, it was our turn, my fiancee and I got full attention from Jeff, for as long as we needed.

He looked at our ideas, and worked through the rendering and 3D printing just as explained, I came in twice to check the waxes that he printed, got to meet Stuart, and then the ring was made - ahead of their projected schedule! Just EXACTLY what I wanted! A beautiful ring. in a setting that will withstand my career. All the staff were super friendly, gave excellent customer service, and answered questions I didn't even know I had! I 100% trust and would absolutely recommend Stuart Benjamin. Such a great experience here. Didn't trust shipping my ring back to where I purchased it for a resize. Found this location on Yelp from plenty of happy reviewers. All of the employees were so great and knowledgeable. Got my ring back the next day and it looks beautiful. I'll be returning for any other work I need done.

Jeff at Stuart Benjamin & Co. made us feel very comfortable and secure from the start, by answering every question and countering every doubt that we had. Once we came into the store, they showed us exactly what they were going to do to the ring, they put the diamond under a microscope so we could see its imperfections, and they even polished the ring, a family heirloom that ended up looking brand new! I recently purchased an engagement ring, and I would highly recommend this jewelry store to the novice engagement ring buyer. I walked in uneducated the first day and walked out feeling like an expert when I was done. Jeff Teel was the jeweler I worked with who earned my trust quickly. Jeff was genuine and patient and did an incredible job explaining the process of selecting a diamond and setting.

There was absolutely no pressure, no upselling, and no hidden surprises. The process took me about 4 or 5 visits, and each visit was a pleasant experience. Most importantly, the ring is phenomenal.

Great respect for Stuart Benjamin & the team. Came here to get my gold chain fixed. Which they were super nice and very helpful. Then my chain broke again in a different spot and let it sit well past warranty of repair. Called Stuart and told me to come in and even though it was out of warranty. He was kind enough to repair it at no additional charge. Thank you for repairing my chain, as I am now wearing it again. Will shop here in the future.

I went to Stuart Benjamin to get a watch band engraved. Not only was the customer service AMAZING, but the turn around time was so fast. It took maybe 3 days and it came out perfectly. The watch band was for my boyfriend with the initials of his sister and the anniversary of her death. It may be a very small detail but it meant the world to us both, I was able to give him the most heartfelt gift and I am so grateful! When I picked it up they graciously gift wrapped it for me as well! Thank you
