Wonderful place to take your new or old jewelry if you need it sized or fixed. I had an old beautiful ring given to me by my family and had to get it resized two sizes bigger. He did an amazing job. It had some fine scratches on it that are now gone and you cant tell at all that he added gold. Quality work at its finest. Very nice people as well. I send everyone I know there to get their jewelry fixed or sized.

They also have some very nice jewelry for sale if your looking for a quality piece that you know is going to be real and at reasonable prices. Sorry about the paint on my hand but wanted to show my piece.

I cannot say enough good things about Guy and Clair. I wanted them to design a new wedding ring for me. Clair took pictures I sent her along with stones from my old ring and came up with a beautiful design which was made and ready in less than a month, just in time for Christmas! Wonderful and friendly staff! They have done multiple repairs for me and my family on rings and necklaces. They pay great attention to detail and stand behind their work! I read another review that mentioned a long turn around on repairs and in my experience with this business that statement couldn't be any further from the truth! Ive actually gone in there under a tight time restraint and they literally stopped what they were doing and did a repair for me right on the spot and then didnt charge me a dime! Always a pleasure doing business with Tavernays! The very best in the industry!

When other local jewelers and jewelry stores failed to follow-up with our inquiry regarding changing and upgrading the setting of my current engagement ring, Clair and Tavernay's provided excellent service from the moment we walked into their store. She gave me her own cell phone number and from day 1 we texted and communicated almost every day, sharing pictures back and forth of what we wanted and what she could do for us.

She was forever patient with me and timely in answering all my questions, and I can be VERY particular and thorough! She provided me with honest opinions and expertise and educated me a lot through the process of designing a semi-custom setting to my existing and new diamonds. We finally got the finished product and my husband and I are beyond happy with my new ring and I will always be grateful to Clair and Tavernay's and recommend them to anyone looking for jewelry service.

Ive used Tavernay's many times. Guy is such a pleasure to deal with, such a nice guy! He is professional, helpful and always tries to make time to talk to you. He is also always, ALWAYS smiling and welcoming. I trust him more than any other jeweler that Ive dealt with. This is a place with true integrity- unlike several others here in town. Id trust him with my gems any time and not think twice or worry about getting back what I left with them.

The ladies at the counter are great also. Everyone is just so friendly and professional. This is why I believe that this store has earned its following as it seems to have quite a few regulars. The only reason I haven't been back is because sadly in the end, the work is just cost prohibitive. The fees are higher than other jewelers that Ive dealt with compared to the quality and the turn around time is quite long.

Simple repairs like sizing (even going down in size) are just astoundingly high and often add- ons are done without prior approval. I do not believe they are out to gouge, they are just high to begin with. Unfortunately you can literally wait weeks for a simple sizing or repair job. They are busy and their staff is limited. The repairs that Ive had done are of decent quality- not poorly done but definitely not high, master jeweler quality either.

Sometimes Guy does the work himself and sometimes another of his jewelers will. The quality is the same no matter what. I do recommend this place all things considered. I myself will continue to look for the perfect (for me) jeweler; with a balance of afforability, integrity and quality. Good jewelers are hard to find!
