In 1976, Betty, Karl and Ken Hanchey, started what is now known as Hanchey Jewelers. When we started, we were strictly a repair service for virtually all of the jewelers in the Low Country. We expanded our service to Savannah, Beaufort, Augusta, and Myrtle Beach. Shortly thereafter we started to provide our services directly to the public.
