The first Almost Famous store was opened in Fargo, ND in West Acres Mall in 2003, and that first store did not look like the Almost Famous Body Piercing locations you know today! Our first location carried a variety of items, including clothing, music cd's, assorted gift items, skateboards, and shoes.

Facial piercings can be broken down into several different categories. For the purposes of this short explanation, we will discuss eyebrow piercings, nose piercings and other dermal or surface piercings that don't include the mouth. Eyebrow piercings can be placed vertically or horizontally. Currently one of the most current piercing trends is putting a dermal or surface piercing just below the outer corner of the eye, on the upper cheek bone. Bridge piercings have made a comeback in popularity as well.

Anti-Tragus Piercing

The anti-tragus, much like the tragus, is a section of cartilage. If you look at your ear and put a fingertip on the tragus, you'll see a notch where the cord to an earbud would sit. On the other side of that notch is the anti-tragus, sitting just above the ear lobe. Much like the Tragus, the Anti-Tragus is usually triangular shaped.
