They survived the early lean years, had another child, Joy, and spent the next few decades building the business into Seattle's premier jeweler. In 1979, the business moved into its current location in new, spacious quarters in Rainier Square. Although Sid and Berta were entering their 70's, they took on the challenge of expanding the business with their usual enthusiasm.
