Since opening the doors of K. Alan Smith Gem & Jewelry Salon in 2004, Kim has been crafting and selling innovative, fresh, and meaningful jewelry in the heart of downtown Seattle and now in Kirkland. Kim began his career in the 1960s by tagging along to his father's jewelry store in Spokane. Although he spent most of his time sweeping floors and polishing silver, it was great fun and made a permanent impression.
