Caldwell Jewelers originally known as B.J. Caldwell Jewelers was started in a 200 square foot office in 1980. B.J. began performing insurance appraisals and selling special order items. Within seven years the tiny office turned into a full service jewelry store occupying 1200 square feet. B.J. was one of the first Graduate Gemologists in Tucson as well as the first Master Gemologist Appraiser. Today her daughter-in-law now owns and runs Caldwell Jewelers. Monica is a Graduate Gemologist and a Master Gemologist Appraiser.

We will be happy to help you design a "one of kind" custom jewelry item just for you. We will take all the time you need to find that perfect design. Sit down with Monica, Janean or Martin and design your special piece. We will carve out a wax that can be changed or modified as many times as you like. We will then cast and finish the item for you, and set diamonds or gemstones of your choosing.

Caldwell Gemological Laboratory was established in 1987. We comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices as set forth by the Appraisal Foundation and take pride in providing accurate jewelry appraisals. There are three common types of appraisals; Retail Replacement Value, Fair Market Value and Liquidation Value.
