Our store has been owned and run by the same family in its original location in Kennesaw, GA since 1970 and continues to serve a customer base both new, and generations old.

Prospector's Pouch is owned and operated by the Smith family, and has been their labor of love since 1970 when the store was first opened. For owners C.R. and Ilene Smith, the store has grown from a small community jeweler to a favorite among Atlanta natives and beyond.

Smith in the early 1980's, Georgia Midnight is exclusively mined for, and sold through our store in many beautifully finished shapes and settings. Georgia Midnight is destined to become a strategic and very valuable find for Georgia and the Southeast.
