I have visited Sheldon Jewelers in Framingham twice. I am shopping for an Old Mine Cut engagement ring. The first time I visited for 10 min and the man working there ignored me and was quite unapproachable. I thought maybe he was having a bad day, so a week later I came back. There was a young woman working. She was lovely and very helpful. He took her aside to yell at her while throwing his hands up in the air, telling her she was wasting her time showing me jewelry.

I have never seen this level of unprofessionalism. Perhaps he looks at people and assumes that can't afford to buy things and then won't help them? I'm not sure, but I have never been treated so poorly by a salesperson. It's really disappointing, because there were some gorgeous rings that I would have certainly thought about purchasing. Overall, this man's attitude towards me was borderline inappropriate and he should be ashamed.

I just received a call from Sheldon, himself. Evidently I had completely forgotten about a pair of earrings they repaired well over a year ago! They could have disposed of them, they could have done nothing, I would be none the wiser, but Sheldon called me after all this time. That's why this jeweler has been in business for over 30 years. they are great at what they do and they care about the customer. Kudos to you and your son Sheldon and thank you!

100 stars for my 100 year old engagement ring that was repaired by Sheldon. After leaving another well known natick/framingham jeweler in tears when they said to rip out the stones and replace with a birthstone since it's "not worth repairing" i wasn't sure what the future of this ring would be. Sheldon you have blown me away with your care and skill. I will never go anywhere else, you're amazing at what you do. Thank you so much!
