Opened in 1969 by Vahan and Helen Ohanian, Generales & Generales Fine Jewelers has been serving the Toluca Lake community for over 50 years. Operating out of the same location (that was purchased from the Three Stooges!), Vahan and Helen's daughter, Sylvia and her husband Peter Generales, are second generation owners of this mom and pop shop. Our mission statement is simple.

Since 1969, our family owned business has been providing ne custom made jewelry with reliable and courteous service. Our services include jewelry repair, watch repair and appraisal service.

With over 200 years of combined jewelry experience, you can be assured that your jewelry will be in good hands when it is entrusted with us for repairs and restoration work. From vintage to modern, we have the knowledge and the right tools to get the work done properly and on time. As for watch repair, the same holds true.

There is a tradition in our family where every bride clips my grandmother's pin to their wedding bouquet, bringing a piece of her heart down the aisle. Unfortunately, the pin was lost in a move before my wedding - I was devastated. Unknown to me, my mother brought images of the pin into the shop. Peter replicated it perfectly and my mother surprised me with it on the big day. I cannot thank them enough for restoring a piece of our family history and making my big day just that much more special.

Appraisals are prepared by a trained jeweler and gemologist (G.I.A.) at Generales & Generales Fine Jewellers. We adhere to a strict code of ethics. Great care will be taken to provide you with complete descriptions of your jewelry and an accurate estimated Replacement Value. The Values set forth therein are an estimate of the current market price at which the appraised jewelry may be purchased in a retail jewelry store and do not necessarily reflect the price at which the appraised or similar jewelry may be purchased from this firm.
