After a three-year stint with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, Harold studied at the Gemological Institute of America. He joined his father's business in 1946, bringing not only extraordinary technical knowledge, but a business savvy that would help make TIVOL legendary. In addition to earning the trust of countless satisfied customers, Harold has also earned innumerable awards.

Plaza store manager Gary Pener is a lifelong Kansas Citizan. He has been in the jewelry business for 35 years, the last 21 of which have been spent at TIVOL. Gary has four children and has been married for more than 30 years. Along with his devotion to TIVOL and providing amazing customer service, Gary is a fan of the Royals, Chiefs, and all college sports.
