I hope that those of you who have been to Max's know that I've tried to create a store that has things that are new and different for shoppers in the Twin Cities, and one that's fun, too! I spent over twenty years in the corporate business world, and much of that time was "on the road." It was during my travels that I realized that there were some great things out there that I had never seen here in Minneapolis/St.

Los Angeles - Aaron Henry Furlong was born in California, the third generation in a family of established jewelers and diamond merchants tracing back to 1940. By the time he was 21, Aaron had earned both a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis.

New York - Adel Chefridi was born in the old city of Tunis, along the Mediterranean coast. He came to New York in 1998 where he created his studio. His work increasingly draws from his multicultural background, resulting in an attempt to reconcile past and present, nostalgia and hope. His designs emphasize simplicity, wearability, durability, and openness to light and movement.
